Depends if you live next to a billionaire. He can also say it will absolutely happen and be serious. Don't really get what JumpinJeppeFlash is after.

Ok,,,cryptic, cryptic, cryptic, yeah, yeah, yeah,,,,,,so there's some billionaire who tells M&K whether they can do a show or not?.....

Any particular billionaire or just any ole one?....

I'm guessing from the photo of M&K you posted on the prevoius page you're not in favour of this idea.........

btw this idea is anything but new. What's new is the suggestion to milk our wallets dry to pool together a six figure sum.

You probably meant seven figures!
I would be in for $1K in NY... not that this is ever happening.

Good luck with whatever the sum might be. That is bowing to a bourgeois mechanism. Utterly self degrading.
I could see a secret show happening that is organized in a way that hardcore fans get in, but not if they need to raise that kind of money first.

This is the entire Sail Away show from the KISS KRUISE 2 on Oct. 31, 2012 on board the NCL Pearl. Had an awesome time.

We would never agree the set list ....

everyone who contributes votes for one song... and the top 20 become the set list.

it'd be interesting to see if people would get conservative out of fear their song/vote w/b wasted.

top 20 contributors (most money)?

that's the spirit!

My thoughts exactly.

2000 of us at $1000 a head and we'd have the (initially) rumored $2 million.
If it was more we could either up the price or the number of attendees.

Or 1000 of us at $2000 a head... could all vote on location (each $1000 gets a vote)

An IORR private event.. how cool would that be??
The greatest rock and roll band in the world with a concert of their greatest fans.

Sounds fair. thumbs up

Do people really think the Stones would rehearse a ton of songs they haven't played for years just for one private show? Not likely.

If the Stones accept to do a show for fans who'll pay $1,000-2,000 or more to see them means that they shouldn't have considerations to you the Fans but so much for money! Is there a fool to think that he could organize a private show like that. If there is a probleme, a cancellation, this guy will be ruined and will have to pay all his life. This is a sharks world.angry smiley

I'm totally in for $100. How many songs would I be allowed to sit through?

None. You have to leave after Matt Cliffords stage announcement.

OK, I might still be in...what will he be saying?

"Everybody,rattle your jewelery..." or something...

The show should be schedueled during a tour and in or near a town on the tour.
Keep in mind the band would need at least 2 or 3 days in between shows.

How much virtual money have we raised, Jeppe?

This is not impossible if we use other channels as well.

But 70 percent would probably back out, so let's keep that in mind.

Have we got enough for a Mick Taylor (no) show yet ?

An attractive option for funding a show would be Mick Taylor with Bill Wyman, it would appease a lot of fans.

Taylors pub tour of Australia in 2013 which was cancelled was probably likely to make say $5,000 AUD per night, Bill Would make slightly more for his shows . Put them together and offer them $20,000 AUD per night.

Decent Venue with capacity of say 2,000 (small enough for IORR fans to enjoy) , after allowing for venue hire and hiring decent backing session players, tickets would be only say $200 Aud each (roughly $170 US) .

Invite Ronnie as well, as he would be up for the gig just to support them.

They have played together before, in this manner so it is achievable.

Bigger venue and the prices drop.

If the price is right fans worldwide would travel to them, either UK or Europe, as Bill wont travel too much.
