To be fair, they should have done all of Dirty Work for this gig...

The money this private person is paying is going directly into the tour budget, i.e. theoretically he is saving us a few dollar on ticket prices, like a sponsor.
If you don't like the fact that the Rolling Stones play for money, go figure out, they have done it since 1962. Just read Keith's notes in his book LIFE, day by day. He noted every single pound, shilling and pence they did every show from the very first one. Getting paid as a performing artist is acknowledge of fame and success. Still.

BV, I appreciate all your efforts in running this site and I hope you got into the Belly Up tonight, but......do you really believe the 1%-er who paid for this show is lowering ticket prices for the rest of us? My pair of Petco tix cost $433 and we were sitting in the bleachers. We should be thankful to the billionaire that the prices weren't higher?
I don't begrudge the Rolling Stones playing for big money or playing private shows, I truly don't, but suggesting that this private citizen is doing all of us a favor is a big stretch. I don't believe the band's paycheck tonight will give any trickle-down benefit to the rest of us plebeians who fill the stadiums.

Can't wait for their reports...
Rambler in a place like that... WOW...
In the last 20 years they've tried to rewrite their bisexual history , so much so I'm offended even though I am straight, still to quote Claude in Hair, " I wouldn't kick MJ out of bed".Quote

Since this is a club, I wonder it everybody's going to stick around till closing time and drink and socialize. The Stones included. Perhaps a slightly drunken jam towards the end with Mr. Whitworth on keys and the new wife singing along?
peace

The rarities on the setlist are what made me think the setlist was good. Let's not forget this wasn't a common "secret warm-up" for the fans, since they've played on a birthday party or something like that. Also, you don't see/listen to Crazy Mama or I Got the Blues on their concerts too often.

It's always funny seeing their best songs named as crap on a Stones fan board

Did they do Can't Turn You Loose? Interesting that it was listed on the setlist as "only if needed"
