New single just be played in Greece (sorry to make a new topic, but...)

Greece, here! A music radio which is getting very good ratings just played “Streets Of Love”. Nice ballad! In the beginning the song reminds me a bit of “Already Over Me”. On the chorus, something like “Out Of Tears”. I mean the whole atmosphere.

The broadcaster’ s notes were dithyrambic, not only on the song, but also on the live performances of the band. He said: “I saw them last time in 2003, at San Siro, Milan. I have seen a huge number of famous rock bands in concert and must say once again that noone compers to the Stones on stage. The rock and roll is inside their DNA. The only wrong think with them is that they played here just twice in 40 years…”

Can you do something about it mr Cohl??

Hmmm…A ballad as first single. First time since 1973 (“Angie”), I think. Am I wrong?

PS Sorry to make a new topic about the same subject, but for some tecnichal reasons i cannot post on the "regoular" one.

really good message. thank's. For some of this board who are just grinches (oh, it' a piece from goddess...) I think "goddess" is just a masterpiece, then a good sign..) I'm begin to hate all negative pseudo-fans. FORTUNATELY BV is formidable to share enthusiasm for the FABULOUS ROLLING STONES. I love GREECE.

Yes, the comments were dithyrambic. 40% for the song, 60% because "the Stones are here again". If you don't agree, i can tell you the adress or the telephone of the radio to complaint about it...

dithyrambic...?
stickydion, are you sure that's english?
Sounds like greek to me.
Can you give me an explanation, ethymology, decomposition of this greek composite?

Whale, yes, the root of the word "dithyrambic" is clearly greek. But i found it on a Greek - English Dictionary! It is obviously an unusual word...

Dithyrambic = laudatory, jubilant.
Say something dithyrambic = in a jubilant strain.

According to my Dictionary...
