First of all I love this version and the fact they are playing this. Still anyone who rags on Chuck after hearing the guitar slop here is missing the point of what's going on on stage. It's really a shame those three guitarists can't do better. Yet I love it to death because it is a highly entertaining spectacle.Quote

I am a little bit worried about Stones2000. He travelled to San Diego and we have not heard from him since. Hope he didn't get lost at the concert?
I'm doing great! Thanks so much for caring, though. I went down with my dad, and we did a bit of a road trip back home. I didn't have Wi-Fi a lot, so I haven't had many chances to post. I'm home safe and sound, though! I can't wait to post my little review in the "San Diego" thread. It was the greatest night of my life!!

Great! I'm very interested in first-timer reviews. It's a fresh perspective that surely beats the nitpicking some of us are known for.
I also hoped you weren't just so underwhelmed by the show that you gave up on the band altogether! (which is also known to happen occasionally)

Well I hope there was a girl involved. Looking forward to your review, seeing the Stones through 14 year old (I know almost 15) eyes will be a treat. Don't hold back.

And to paraphrase Keiths words: You got to be a real sourpuss, mate, to get up there and not be drawn in by the magic of the riffmaster.

If you send it to BV he will put it on the 2015 Tour pages for eternity, but it might take him some days as he's got a lot to do. Why not do that and also post here?

As soon as my dad and I got back to the hotel, I carefully locked the poster, program, and T-Shirt into the hotel room safe.
lmfao. Dude, you are a breath of fresh air. Which t-shirt did you get?

I have a quick question for those of you who attended. On the picture below, where did the main PA stacks hang?
From the videos and photos it looks as though the main center stacks hung in the center of A3 and A6. Just curious where the line array actually hangs in relation to the floor seats.

Stones2000..I am so glad you had a great time. It was an amazing show. I took my nephew, it was his first concert, and he stood there with his mouth opened the entire show. He has not have time to tell me his thoughts but I am looking forward to that.
You can buy some great, never used, Stones shirts on ebay and on line. They are cheaper. If you want to read a great thread, on this site, go to message list, Rolling Stones at the Belly Up. They played to a private party on Wed night. The Belly Up is a beach bar, in a remodeled warehouse in Solana Beach CA.in San Diego County. The place has lots of concerts, including other well known bands. There is a stuffed shark over the bar! There are some great stories on that site if you start at the first page...and read it all..It could be made into a, comedy, short film. The Rolling Stones did stay close to there. Also, there are some photos on that message site and on the Belly Up site and Belly up facebook.
Glad you have a great adventure you will never forget. Where were you seats?

Peace,

Those were the best seats! You were off the crowded field and could still see the screens. I was in FR 123..could see one screen but it was good for me. I had binoculars! Did you hear the rehearsal?

Your photos are so good. I'm trying to figure out how to take such true color, sharp photos. May I please ask you what type of photographic equipment did you use for this? Surely not a cell phone??(I've never tried a cell phone pic, my cell phone is too old).
