The set list was good enough to have people all over the world search for and click on links all night just to listen on a mobile device and some on PC. That and based on ticket prices they must be doing something right. I want to be rocked at the show. I can listen to deep cuts on the ride home.

If they can raise the bar and charge exorbitant premium prices then raise the bar on your setlist. Play more songs and entertain everyone. Include an intermission if you can't handle it. This setlist is stale.

Tip for the next concert : if you want to watch the concert on periscope go to twitter and type in the search bar : #periscope @rollingstones
Then select "Live" : you will get links from people who are streaming from the venue.

Thanks a bunch. I will try that. Are some browsers better than others for periscope. I was using IE and was lucky if I got a total of 30 seconds of audio tonight. Any input is appreciated. Thanks again.

What would you have them play? There are some of these songs that are signature songs and have to be played. Just curious as to what you would like different that would make you happy?

Mozilla Firefox should work better but it also depends on your connection and the streaming quality.

It's not Charlie Watts junior presenting it. Whoever is responsible is clueless and immediately to be fired. I will gladly take his position >grinning smiley<

+1 Thank foe th clip links, they were required .

Parrotscope is not a perfect thing (yet) but it sure gave me the idea and it is an addition to what we usually get... and we will soon have the Youtube clips, so all is well in Rolling Stones land.

A fine show and the periscope thing actually worked
without downloading any apps... it was glitchy, but
it came through mostly OK... I liked the guy walking
around outside actually had the best feed...

I second that! Particularly, whe he gave that guy in the wheelchair $ 1.- ...

As far as listing periscope feeds here in the show updates
it is important that they be here... this is where we are..
and with a direct link they came up and worked. Thanks for
eveyone who was listing links.

Agreed. It truly is soemthing new. The partly poor sound or picture doesn't matter really much - but you get the hype and the screems from the life show - that's definitely some decent progress!

As far as that person, the one person, complaining about the setlist...
he is not worthy of a comment... he should go argue with his Mom or something,
not keep coming to every show update and saying the same things.

+1

Your delusional, the truth is hard to accept. You analyze with your heart and not your head. You're too hooked to realize when you've been bamboozled.

Basically, you got 20 % more variation than the 14 On Fire setlist (Bitch, Knocking, Moonlight Mile and All Down The Line). 80 % of the setlist is the same though.

So now that it's over, I will come right out and say it: this Periscope thing is a ploy to keep people occupied so they won't create Youtube content.

I take them for what they are and am quite critical about the playing. Three bars into the Brown Sugar solo I was appalled and still am slightly angry.
But I won't lose a single breath on setlist complains. If you have followed them since 2005 and still expect them to one day "raise the setlist bar" that makes you the delusional one.

The guy outside was my favorite and most stable feed.
But it was a weird feeling, being double outside...
Not only was I shutout side the stadium, but also shutout
of the location in another city... it was surreal.

I have been the guy walking around a stadium without a ticket
listening to clear sound bellow out...so it was... was... quite
someting to be sitting at home and walking around with him doing it.

Cheers to the whale guy on periscope!!

Their catalog expands for over 50 years. Nobody is saying to NOT play warhorses, just play other songs from catalog. And mix it up. They have dozens of 3 minute songs to add in. Hire a setlist coordinator. They need one badly.
