He's free to push and challenge them. But he has a legacy to take care of when it comes to the Brown Sugar solo and overriding it like that is flat out pissing on it IMHO

I'm not rationalizing or justifying it at all. That's the reality of a stadium setlist from the Stones. I'm not going to pay for some stadium show and expect a bunch of rare cuts. Anybody who does is misinformed or delusional. That's not how this band does things. If I went to one of these shows I would expect mostly war horses.
But now they play all those songs at one concert!
Even Can't You Hear Me Knockin' AND Rambler at a stadium show!

I still think the opening song should have been Brown Sugar, and only three other SF songs does not justify the ''Zip Code'' name. And personally when I go to a Stones show I even want them to play the warhorses because they rock the audience, everybody is singing along and they don't seem to get tired of them

I'm very suprised by the playing of the Stones. It sounds all so fresh and effortless, seems to me they finally found the right balance between being concentrated and rocking it. What I heard so far is even better than last year!
But the crowd seems to me a bit disappointing. If I was there right now I would partying till I would fall down, but some of the people don't seem to get their asses up from the chair.

Right but mostly they played YGMR or LSTNT as 2nd or 3rd song and ADLT, Bitch and Street Fighting Man were usually in the vote slot. Of course there were exeptions..Quote

I don't get the whining here. You got a more imaginative setlist than in Europe or Australia. All Down The Line, Bitch, Moonlight Mile and Knocking aren't staple goods.
From HTW and on it's the usual suspects though. I wasn't expecting anything else.

Tip for the next concert : if you want to watch the concert on periscope go to twitter and type in the search bar : #periscope @rollingstones
Then select "Live" : you will get links from people who are streaming from the venue.

without downloading any apps... it was glitchy, but
