I think we used up our Lucky Dip karma when we got double pit in Vegas 2013. Since then, 6 pairs have all been rafters.

I feel the same since I got pit for Toronto #1 - only time I'd had LD's before this tour. If I have crappy seats for Columbus and Detroit I can't really complain.

I have a slight suspicion that they keep those envelopes sorted in some way, so express your enthusiasm when you collect them!

What's all the hype with periscope? Reasonable quality clips gonna be up on youtube within hours.

Agreed that Periscope quality not great but something about seeing/hearing it live especially for the opener......no one has to watch if they don't want, right?

it's new, it's an interesting concept, its real time, it's real time content provided by people on site, not filterd. It can give the watcher a real time feel of what is going on before, during and after the show, but you don't have to watch it real time if you follow the person providing the content.

Whats the difference in Periscope AND BOOTLEG RECORDINGS?

i've been watching rush doing 2112 (which cut for a short bit) and now working man, which has played almost all the way through.

I watched the whole of the U2 show in PHX last night; there were 2 audio streams and at least 2 video streams that did the whole show and at one point as many as 10 were streaming on periscope

Ok. thanks, (& to Nikkei) I get it now...anybody can stream live - however much they want to - and then anyone can 'plug in' to those streams on the outside.....amazing, the first boot I got was Gothenburg '82 - 4 months after the tour had finished....(and couldn't believe my luck......
