Photos posted by various IORRers of the San Diego build...

Really looking forward to seeing what the stage actually ends up looking like!

That reminds me, seats on the edges of the floor have the massive port-a-Jon lines. This crowd goes a lot!

Looks like they are braced for some rainy nights, very wise on their part.

Poured rain last night on the stage, so they are lucky it's clearing today

I was at a Roger Waters/Wall concert a few years ago, I think it was at Fenway Park (went to several) where they had beer stands next to the port-a-Jon's on the side/edges of the floor.
Made it convenient for those who drink alot of beer and piss alot, but perhaps a bit annoying for those who were seated in that area trying to enjoy the show.

It's gonna be the steampunk stage again. No surprises, it's an elegant design.

Yep, that's it. Saw them putting that up tonight.
They need to scramble as they are behind. Will barely have time for sound check tomorrow afternoon.
What tour is that from?

It premiered in Oslo and was used throughout Europe and Downunder, with the exception of festivals and arena shows.

Oh, never saw any of those. Seems pretty simple. As long as video screens are good & sound also.

It has a lot of creative light effects. Like the ABB stage which also seemed simple before it lit up.
I think the triple screen is much better than inflatable gimmicks and stuff, as the focus remains on the band at all times.

I've posted this before, thought it may be of interest for those heading to the show.
My wife sneakily filmed me heading to our front row seats at Adelaide 2014 down under. Nice look of stage and seating.

Ye Olde State Fair Band setup.

Doubles as the the 4-H Hog Show judging tent.

This is the "keep costs as low as possible" stage. But hey...it's all about the "music" right? So who cares about a fancy stage.

No need to apologize - it only adds to the excitement, and still pics can't do justice to seeing and hearing it all loud and live! thumbs up

Well shoot. I was hoping they had 'upgraded' that stage. It is a far less impressive stage than ABB/Licks/etc but atleast the PA system is solid! The stage has always historically been a very important and impressive feature of Rolling Stones concerts. In this situation, the stage could be for any band in the world. Definitely the same stage as the international shows.

Stage looks great. Nice stadium in San Diego. I'm excited, even though I'm in Europe. For all who are going : Have a great show!

Thanks for the pics. Yep seems to be the same stage as in Europe but it worked well over there. I think there were two versions, a high/low one, the high one being used in Abu Dhabi and the low one in Paris for instance. Hope the US gets the "low" version as you see the band a lot better...well if you're close to the stage.

It is definitely higher than the one they used in Auckland. Notice the rake of the catwalk.
