Why not Keith? How can you have a "Stones" intro without Keith? It would be like listening to some other band.

At the risk of going off topic, and I'll take the risk, my favorite song outro, not Keith, is Dandelion, one of Charlie's finest moments on record.

Stop Breakin' Down

For me, this is it by a country mile. Who knew Mick Jagger played this raunchy, "Keith-like" opening riff? There's a feel to it that makes me smile. Mick has good guitar sense.

We knew that, because he did it on the album before Exile as well (Sway).

It is indeed great, and even better played than on Sway, imo.

Keith plays that bass on the studio album.

But by all means, if Daryll's intro in concert is his favourite, so be it.

I didn't know that about Keith playing bass on LWM. I need to refresh my liner notes. I always try to cite the source of the performance or quote or paraphrase that I use.

Well, the bass on LWM is classic Keith bass playing. Toward the ending it gets crazy, when he starts those weird runs smiling smiley

Sources?

Let's start here and here.

September '05 @ MSG, MIck's intro to Tumbling Dice:

"Its so great to see different generations coming together to the show, so to the parents...enjoy the show and to the kids, ... well, there goes your college fund."

Isn't that the whole band? You're not mixing it up with 2120 South Michigan Avenue?

If we were to be splitting hairs, I would say it's Charlie's intro in both cases
