I don't know if it's Brian or Keith, but I like the solo on "It's All Over Now" very much. And the solos on "Down the Road Apiece".

A very early one by Keef I like a great deal

I also think Ronnies solo at the end of MR is much better than most want to admit.

Did Brian or Mick J. play any solos? Can't think of any.

Brian played several slide solos, like the one I posted.

Mick J played one too, on Back of My Hand.

He might have had a hand in the SOL-solo as well.

Lots of good RS guitar-solo's, but Mick Taylor back in the days .... he made me jealous.

This is tough but I'd say off the top of my head for studio releases:

Jones- No Expectations

Richards- Honky Tonk Women

Taylor- Sway and Time Waits for No One (so many great ones)

Wood- Beast of Burden

*I love Shine a Light and Ventilator Blues too haha

Very overrated version imo. The arrangement is way to basic, I don't like simple guitar intro either.

The guitar solo's are good, and the overall performance is okay but there has been so many better performances of Sympathy For The Devil.

No. Actually think that was pretty inspired, especially compared to more recent renditions, his tone is good and he's out front, pushing himself within the limits of the song and his abilities. Ronnie seems to get his point across on that one, imo. But you did catch me a bit because I was specifically looking for Ronnie solos in order to make it a bit of a challenge. grinning smiley

peace

Yes. The omission was unintentional.

I just don't hear it. Huge step down from two years earlier, and I mean the whole thing, not just the solos.
