My store had 7 boxes. Well did. They were $13.99. Includes the cd, shirt and a $2 off coupon for the Sticky Fingers June release.

The price sticker says $13.99 but they are on sale and ring up at $11.99.

More T-shirts are sold in Large than other sizes. Incidentally, the rapper fashion of too-large clothes comes from prison wear. When a new prisoner is issued clothes, the clerk knows that if the clothes are too big the prisoner might not come back for a refitting, which he'll more likely do if they're too small. Same with laceless shoes. Prisoners are forbidden shoelaces so they won't hang themselves. That bled into rap fashion and then general fashion. Who knows if these X-Large Sticky shirts are an offshoot of this prisoner/rapper stuff?

Simply put, it is cheaper and easier to order/run one size of a t-shirt, and more people 'fit'/can wear an XL vs. a S/M/L. So they order/make one size and anyone who is not built that way, or overweight, gets a crappy too-big shirt.

It's a stupid, cheap trend.

I went in to my local BestBuy at lunch time - first time in a long time. I eventually found the single on the top of the new release stand - I didn't see any Stones CDs at all in the (rather small) main CD section.
I paid $11.99 + tax for it - the T shirt appears to be pretty good quality and it is definitely XL. The print looks good - I like it. I haven't had a SF shirt for ages: I remember in the late 70s/early 80s I had a plain black one with the red print logo and a small real zipper on the front.
I can't imagine the $2 coupon is going to make the super Deluxe SF any more afoordable though.

Congrats on grabbing one... at those prices ($11.99) I always grab at least 2 so I can open the cool stuff and enjoy it... and still keep one mint.

The demise of the CD/music dept at Best Buy and else where is a bummer, but a sign on the downloading times... but it is not much fun. I used to always spend 15-20 minutes just browsing the 4-5 rows looking for a buried treasures and quite often found some.

I suppose the upside to it all is there are a couple or more 2nd hand LP stores that sell used LP and CDs and posters and stuff, so that is where I go now to look for loot now.

WATCH OUT – a lot of those singles that come with RS-magazine are spoiled by glue!
