I may be in the minority but this seems like such a silly thing to sell. The song is fine but why re-release it again? I'll pass, and wait for either a new bootleg release or a new album. No point in purchasing the same song that we've had on Sticky Fingers for decades, and greatest hits compilations on and on...

12 bucks isnt bad for a shirt... and you get the record too...
And that cool treacle cover too... I know one person who will but it :)

Not too crazy about the song choices on the single - but that shirt is badass. ><
I picked up a box today - my BB didn't get but 3 of them in, and the next closest got 2.

Most people, myself included, seem to be buying it for the shirt. I don't give two shits about Wild Horses. At $11.99 that's the cheapest concert/band shirt I ever bought.

Either one. I just went an picked one up in the store, they had several on the shelf. But you can order it from their website. Assuming you're in the U.S. I don't know if Best Buy does international shipping.

Typically these shirts have only come in LARGE. Apparently somebody finally did their market research for the Stones customer as opposed to, say, In The Moment and realized a larger average size is called for. Still, it will be one of those stretchy, thin mystery cloth shirts that will barely qualify as an XL. That's how they fit them in the box.

I have found these XL quickly turn into L and M with some washing and hot drying... whether you want them to or not.

Buy one, keep it for years... it will fit sooner or later.

They are all X-Large this time. That seems to be the trend with these Best Buy boxes, all one size for each release. The last box BB put out was The Who - "50 Years" comp and the t-shirts were all larges in that one.

More T-shirts are sold in Large than other sizes. Incidentally, the rapper fashion of too-large clothes comes from prison wear. When a new prisoner is issued clothes, the clerk knows that if the clothes are too big the prisoner might not come back for a refitting, which he'll more likely do if they're too small. Same with laceless shoes. Prisoners are forbidden shoelaces so they won't hang themselves. That bled into rap fashion and then general fashion. Who knows if these X-Large Sticky shirts are an offshoot of this prisoner/rapper stuff?

They are closing most of the Best Buy stores around where I live. I'm going to try to make it over to the one store that's still within easy driving distance. It sounds like a cool little package, but there's no way an XL will fit me or anyone else in my house, unless it shrinks.

Baggy clothes style began because poor inner-city families didn't have a lot of money, therefore a lot of clothes were hand-me-downs. You wore your big brother's old clothes, even if he was twice your size at the same age. Because you didn't have the money for anything else. Necessity became fashion.

As for the laceless shoes, it was Run DMC who said that was the reason they wore their shoes that way. But it was a fashion that pre-dated Run DMC, that was just their version of the story. Probably sounded better than "because it looks cool". And then all the kids could say "This is how they wear them in jail", as if that were cool. But I've never seen a jail that lets you wear your own shoes past the holding tank phase (at which point they take your shoes entirely and give you what they issue, usually WITH laces), and when you do get out, they give you your laces back. It was a nice story that sold a lot of Adidas though.

It actually would be nice if there was a regualation that they have to list the "arm pit to arm pit" PLUS "top to bottom" exact measurements on shirts like this because L and XL can mean all sorts of things.. but once someone knows what dimensions fit them, they know what to buy.

Bought mine today because I spaced it out yesterday and paid $13.99. I think I got the last one. Collectors have to have everything, don't we?

Already it's on eBay going for $25-$30.

By the way, it was weird going into Best Buy yesterday. I haven't been inside one for maybe 1-2 years. I used to love them, they used to have the best selection and prices on CDs and DVDs. Aisles and aisles of them. I knew that thanks to Amazon (and I'm not bitching because I work for Amazon) Best Buy had moved more into the direction of electronics and appliances and shrunk down on their Movies/Music. I was surprised to find that the Music/Movies/Games (which I would say at one point made up 3/5 of the store) was relegated to a little corner in the back the size of my living room. One short row of music with all genres mixed together, where there used to be 4 rows of Rock alone. But they did have some of those Wild Horses singles.

My store had 7 boxes. Well did. They were $13.99. Includes the cd, shirt and a $2 off coupon for the Sticky Fingers June release.

So can anyone who has picked one up comment on the shirt quality?

I don't expect an heirloom, but if it looks like thin crappy quality I'll save my money for the show.

Same quality of the shirts at their concerts. Cheap and thin, but atleast they are not $40.
