Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but I have just read this book by Mark Ellen, and it is an excellent read for anyone who grew up loving rock music in the 60s and 70s, nostalgic and funny. Not much Stones content, but plenty of other stuff. Sample quote: "there are two types of music fan, those who love Van Morrison, and those who have met him".
