Hi! This is my first post here, and I was wondering if anyone could give a link to an MP3/FLAC download of the Some Girls 78 Texas concert?

Much appreciated!

The show is well worth purchasing on Google Plus, etc... worth every dime.

I had no idea that this had ever been released for download as audio. I only thought it was video and vinyl release. My apologies for the confusion!

Actually.. It looks like the CD/DVD combo is not available anymore on amazon US.
Amazon UK has still 5 in stock though...

Call me crazy but I prefer the Dandelion Handsome Girls bootleg as I think the official release is too hot. The Bluray is fantastic though.

Would you guys calm the hell down...clearly the car is too small.
I've felt that same way in the Disneyland tea cups....

AMEN! This is the bootleg that got me into recording bands. I prefer the mix on this release too. Have considered making my own edit using bluray as the video source, and the rear channels to fill in the missing channels for 5.1 DTS.

@ThumpinJackFlash - I would bump this thread --> LINK and someone will post the link to Handsome Girls for you.

Is the blu-ray sound track really different from the regular CD ? Or just at higher resolution ? Never considered to get this on blu-ray as I have the vinyl (which sounds very good) + DVD edition.

Never compared the audio of the official Bluray to the Handsome Girls CD Audio boot. My comment was meant to mean that while I don't care for the mastering of the official CD that came with the Bluray, as I find it too hot, I do love the video of the concert on the Bluray.

JMO but it seems the official audio CD of the show suffers from the common ailment many new CD's do these days in that the levels of everything is pumped up into the red and all the warmth and subtlety of a recording is lost in the mix.

Thanks. I'll keep playing the vinyl then - and the Handsome girls bootleg CD for the digital version.

Amen x2... That's what ruined the official bootleg series releases too, IMO.

It is brickwalled.

Think it matters as much for a true live recording vs studio?
