Same in Düsseldorf. Envelopes without names.
as I mentioned in another thread: the were quite a lot lucky dippers in the No Filter Pit (including me). The day before a lot of NFP tickets as well as seats in front of the stage were still available on the official ticket agency's website. Thus I knew right from the start that the chances for lucky dippers were good.
The envelops didn't have names, numbers or anything alike on them. One guy checked your ID and another randomly handed out enevelops from a box

With the pit tickets you go to the pit section, show them and get the wristband so you can go in and out without showing the ticket every time.

I have lucky dip tickets for Spielberg. So far I only have an e-mail dated 12 May which contains a "reference number". No order numbers are in the e-mail. Should these numbers be the same? Many thanks for help from you, whoever is more experienced with LD!
... I meant "confirmation number". There is no such thing in my e-mail..
Check your mailbox for email from bestellstatus@eventim.de on the date of ticket order (around May 13 I believe). Booking reference number is in subject of the email.
As for Hamburg, it seems that most of Lucky Dippers were indeed LUCKY! Me and my friends (3 pairs of tickets) all got No Filter Pit and had time of our lives!
I'm Lucky Dipping 2 shows - Paris 1 & 2. Lucky Dips are a strange thing - the more poorly the expensive tickets for a show sell, the luckier you are likely to be. On that basis, Paris is likely to be a difficult show. But for me, with Lucky Dips, you always win anyway because Lucky Dip tickets are usually cheaper than the cheapest regular tickets.
Congratulations to all the big winners in Hamburg. I was in the Silver Pit (not Lucky Dip) with a group of 10, 8 of whom are IORRians and we had a great time.

That's mental! I've already decided that I'm going to Lucky Dip the whole tour next year, if there is one. It's the perfect antidote to expensive tickets. So assuming you sold your spare both times, that's 130EUR for 2 Pit tickets. Not bad
Since they seem to be able to sell all No Filter Pit tickets for Düsseldorf, I will have to prepare for someting else…
Oh well, you might have to make do with one of those 500€ front floor seats in Dusseldorf then ? That would be tough
Filter Pit sold out or not.. i guess they ll keep some tickets apart for the LD'ers. It's my hope at least.

It's been a lot more than the last couple of excursions. It began on the 2013 Fifty & Counting North American Tour, as a way of filling unsold OTT priced seats. As it proved to be successful and popular, it's been retained. Logic would suggest that if Lucky Dipping a slow selling show, you stand a better chance of scoring a good spot. Personally I'm lucky dipping Paris 1 & 2. Hoping to be slotted into Carre Or, priced at 331.5€ !!!
As for on the day logistics, in Paris I can collect from 5pm. Pairs of tickets are handed out in sealed envelopes with names on them, so what you get is predetermined.
Shure that there are name on the envelopes? In Zurich it was random. They took a sealed envelope in the order you came.
Same in Düsseldorf. Envelopes without names.

Below is a list of detailed information you’ll need to review in order to collect your Lucky Dip tickets.
Please pick up your Lucky Dip tickets at the wheelchair/handicap entrance. You will reach the wheelchair entrance via Saarlandstrasse. Enter the Stadtpark at Alte Wöhr/Saarlandstrasse and follow the signs to the wheelchair entrance. We recommend arriving from the S-Bahn station Rübenkamp. Please see attached map for your reference.
You can collect your Lucky Dip tickets from 2:00 PM on.
Your photo ID, confirmation number, and the credit card used to make the purchase are required for pick-up. You will not be permitted to pick up your tickets without these three (3) items.
You must pick up your tickets in person, along with your guest.
If we suspect any reselling or transfer of these tickets they will be immediately voided and you will not be entitled to any refund.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Below are some very general guidelines we’ve included to help you plan accordingly:
The promoter FKP Scorpio and the police of Hamburg plead all guests to arrive early, in order to get on site stress-free and on schedule. There will not be parking areas at the ‘Stadtpark’ and the surrounding area, moreover road closures will be built. Therefore the arrival by public transport or bike is strongly recommended. The concert ticket contains usage of the HVV public transport. A bike parking area will be arranged. For general event and venue information please visit: www.fkpscorpio.com/de/stones-hamburg.
Doors are scheduled to open already at 2:00 PM. There are going to be two entrances and one additional for guests with handicaps. A strict policy for bags and backpacks will apply! On the website www.fkpscorpio.com/de/stones-hamburg you can also find a list of all items that can be taken on site, as well as the prohibited ones. Please have your ticket ready for electronic scanning when arriving at the entrance.
On site there will be a wide range of gastronomic offerings, sweetening the waiting period with special dishes and discounted drinks within the context of “Happy Hours” between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

Exactly, shows with poorer sales and still available pit tickets have higher chances for good Lucky Dip allocations. I wouldn't consider Hamburg a low seller, as in the end they have most likely sold out with 85.000 (possibly the bigggest gig I have ever attended) but I believe €800 for pit tickets were just too much even for German market... Also I suspect that late stage layout changes (usual catwalk instead of "snake pit") meant that Pit capacity has extended from the original plans so they have put loads of extra tickets for sale.

One of the student's who works part time for us..Went to Hamburg and had Lucky dips....And got filter pit...She was over the moon....Everyone else in line near her got them to they were giving them out like candy...very generous of the Stones...And she had a great time....Good luck to all in Munich Tonight!!!!!!!!!

.... i got in Munich Filter Pit Tickets, very much others also, you have hear it always when they open the Envelope with the Tickets ! .... it looks the biggest contingent of the Lucky Dips was the Pit Tickets !

For Munich 4 of our 6 Stonestreff Dippers got 2 No Filter Pit tickets. One got 2 GA tickets (came later) and one we don't know what. And another friend of mine got 2 No Filter Pit. 5 of 7 were very lucky. All of the lucky ones were early at the box.

I got No Filter Pit in Munich again! And a lot of other people did, too – you could easily tell it by the screams that came from the direction of the place were they had to be picked up…

That's mental! I've already decided that I'm going to Lucky Dip the whole tour next year, if there is one. It's the perfect antidote to expensive tickets. So assuming you sold your spare both times, that's 130EUR for 2 Pit tickets. Not bad

Oh well, you might have to make do with one of those 500€ front floor seats in Dusseldorf then ? That would be tough

Filter Pit sold out or not.. i guess they ll keep some tickets apart for the LD'ers. It's my hope at least.
