Yes Kurt !
Tried for Kansas City LD and could have had them after 5 minutes for $81.70 and pick up at Will Call.

If I was in the states I would have gone for it. smileys with beer

Ex-roomate work wouldn't let him off at the last minute, couldn't find anyone to go for free (everyone else was already going).
Went by myself, waited in wrong line, guy in back of me was refused entry.
Lucky Dip was around the corner trough a gate, I waited hour+ (well after 8pm) for the guy with the ticket problem - got scammed - ended up scalper made multiple copies.
Sold him LD for $40, big time KARMA, everyone that got tix before - of the 10+ I asked were in nosebleed sec 234/235.
Asked for lower bowl,Open envelope, F6-H Front Floor Section right side row 8!!! 3 other LD in the row with 6 empty seats.

Another reason for not using scalpers.

So glad you done really well with good floor seats for you and your new buddy.

I done similar in Oslo with Swedish girl who had my spare LD .

Good side seats not too far from stage and Tina Turner and her crowd were nearby but not so good as our seats.

Her husband also had a spare LD from someone and they were in the Golden Circle. She could wave to him as well. Good Karma indeed. thumbs up

BTW, I gave them the wrong CC, wasn't getting tix with it, gave right CC, all OK.

This is weird. I tried to look into tickets for Kansas City, but all links on the RS page and on ticketmaster take you to Lucky Dips. What happened to the regular seating?

Clear your cache and cookies, then you should be able to view the regular tickets. Same thing happened to me and that worked. Using OS X, Firefox.

7 days, KCMO still has LD.

I wouldn't be surprized if Buffalo and possibly Detroit have LD pop up.

Buffalo will not have LD. It may be a state (or more likely) county regulation. Something to the effect of it is a lottery of sorts or the county loses out on the tax fee per ticket (which increases depending on price level). That's why Buffalo never had a LD option on opening day, per a friend in the ticket office. If Buffalo is on anyones radar, your options are selecting from remaining inventory or the secondary market. Check the TM map periodically, you may be very pleasantly surprised.

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered already but here goes:

Has any lucky dip recipients on Zip Code tour sat anywhere else than in the back half of the floor? Has anyone gotten a nosebleed seat in the upper deck of the stadium? Curious.

Also, it appears that the ticket locations have already been selected and are at random so there is no need to be first in line when tickets become available for hand out. Is this correct?

Thanks for any help. I have lucky dip tickets for Pittsburgh tomorrow. I actually have an extra if anyone interested.

Look back on all the pages on this thread and you will see plenty of storys of good and not so good with LD tix. Also fans experience with getting the tix at the venue.

Everyone of the 10+ I asked before I went in the LD gate got sect 234/235 nosebleed
2-3 other LD were in the 8th row with me.

Hey all... I'm being lazy, I know, but where do we report for LD tickets in Pittsburgh? Do we need anything besides credit card and ID? I may have a few extra ones, I'll let everyone know as we get closer to show time. smiling smiley

In Arlington the choice was random.
We were invited to reach into a box of 200 envelopes and grab one.

You line up at Will Call so find out which area Heinz usually does will call.
They never asked for my CC#. I got great seats the guy behind us got nosebleeds and some guy 4 choices ahead told his wife 'floor'.

I have LD tickets for Pittsburgh and did not receive an email from TM. Just got back from a walk around Heinz Field. Will call window is on East side, not open yet.

Does anybody have specific Lucky Dip pickup instructions they could share??? Where and when?

(also posted in Pitt live update thread).

Lucky Dip instructions:

This Saturday, June 20, 8pm
at Heinz Field

To pick-up your tickets, please go to the Press Gate which is across from the Carnegie Science Center Driveway on the Southwest side of the building.

Seating locations are pulled at random. The line forms starting at 5pm - do not arrive early. Tickets will be issued starting at 6pm.

We will be using strict anti-scalper measures to ensure that these tickets go to Stones fans and don't end up on the resale market with wildly inflated prices. We appreciate your attention to the following, so that you have the best experience possible:

Your picture ID, confirmation number, and the credit card used to make the purchase are required for pick-up. You will not be permitted to pick up your tickets without these three (3) items.

You must pick-up your tickets in person, along with your guest. Once you pick-up your tickets at the Press Gate, you will need to immediately enter the venue for the show. Please note there is no re-entry to the event.

If we suspect any reselling or transfer of these tickets they will be immediately voided and you will not be entitled to any refund.

Parking and Driving Directions are found here: HeinzField.com

Enjoy the show!

MILWAUKEE LUCKY DIP

I HAD TWO SETS OF Lucky dips for Milwaukee. Went up too the window at about 5pm a couple of girls were in front of me, they got lawn tickets and walked away they were not escorted in.

I was at the window by myself, they gave me both pairs, just id and signed for them. I checked both sets, lawn. I pleaded with the guy to switch them for me because at this point nobody was waiting behind me, he smiled and refused. (I should have slipped him a 20 did'nt think of it till later)

I walked away no escort in. I kept going back to that area right up until 8:30 pm and everybody I asked got lawn tickets and I did not see one person get escorted in.

Anyway, my guests took thier lawn tickets and found open seats around the arena.

I purchased a ticket from some one out front, he could have been IORR member I never thought to ask. Section 5 row H for $250 it has a $449 face on the ticket
awesome seat a little right center towards Keith side no poles in the way.

Then I sold my lawn seat.

They did release some lower section seats at bout 6:30 pm at the window. All seemed to be on the far left and far right side of the stage, they also released a few Bleacher seats. Why they did not do this earlier or put some in the Lucky dip pile I do not know.

Did any one Iorr member fair better than Lawns seats at the Lucky Dip window?

I was in the lawn as well. I kind of figured that would happen since I'm sure just about all of the good seats were sold and not many held back due to the size of the venue. I don't mind the lawn there for the most part.
