Hi all. I thought this would be a cool subject. What are your favourite songs where Keith has done lead vocals? My personal favourites are Before They Make me Run, Can't Be Seen, We Had it All, and a tie of Little T&A or Slipping Away.

Most of Keith's best songs have been sung by Mick...but if you want some Keith tremendousness ye seek Crushed Pearl among others...like...All About You

Hard to beat for sure, makes me wish the Stones played more acoustic country blues and folk tunes. Every time they feature the acoustics, good things happen.

I also love Somewhere Over the Rainbow and of course Little T&A. I could do without Happy for a while. There are many songs especially from the Exile period where Keith's B/G vocals really shine too. Although Mick used to do a pretty good Keith harmony impersonation so I'm often not sure what I'm hearing.

Here's hoping we get some new favorites on Keith's new record.

I pick You Got The Silver too, but i generally like all the Stones' songs he sings. I don't think there is a bad one, really.

You Got The Silver is a beauty.
Slipping Away, Steel Wheels. Love the way Charlie 'drives' that version with that dry snare sound. I remember watching Barcelona 1990 on tv and Slipping Away was played during the credits at the end of the show. Loved it.

Make No Mistake (About It). Pure soul groove channeling Al Green's early stuff. And, thinking about it, wouldn't having Lisa Fisher paired with Sarah Dash, who Keith used on this tune, be a great duo for backup for the Stones.

Excellent choice...I hadn't considered it as I was only thinking about RS songs but this one is way up there. Perfect for his voice too.
