Zip Code Horns
Date: April 2, 2015 07:55

Just a thought here.... Bobby is gone, god love 'em. Where do you go with horns at this point. starting in 2012, they cut back to 2 horns, bobby and Tim. What do you do now?

Just replace him?

Just keep Tim?

Bring back the new west horns?

Side Note*** When Clarence Clemons Died....(Not Comparing the two) Bruce replaced him with 5 horns

your thoughts....

.....keep on rolling.....

It can't be that hard to find some real hot shot horn players out there. Then again, they failed to find a great bass player.

The horn section will be Tim Ries and Karl Denson. Just like in Australia and NZ last year.

Seems pretty obvious to me this will be the horn section for the new tour. Perhaps You Got To Roll Me was unaware that Bobby had already been replaced.

peace

Haven't heard anything to suggest that it won't be Karl Denson again.

No worries mate......Tim Ries and Karl Denson. Here's a link to a pretty recent thread discussing the subject, which is discussed on other threads too.

Karl Denson just booked a show with his own band in Chicago on July 3rd so he's squeezing in his own gigs in these big gaps.

Until we get it right. The Mick Taylor thread is up to 43 pages and they still haven't figured it out.

Don't worry, they'll just have Chuck press a button on his digital keyboard.

It's high time to get Jim Horn back into the fold...74 is the new 70

I thought this thread would be about keyboards or keyboard players or something.

Players come and players go, but that's how the sound of a band evolves, or changes. The music will have all the features that they have always had, because the show must go on.

I take it they will still use Karl Denson who filled on the last tour
