wHAT WARHORSE SHOULD BE LEFT OUT

Please leave out IORR. I'm sick of that one every tour. Also Start Me Up. I know they'll keep that one.

Start Me Up

It might be a crowd pleaser and was their biggest latter day hit, but it simply isnt anywhere near as good a song as its 'status' suggests

Honky tonk Women

I know, same as above, it's a great crowd pleaser but i personally grew a little tired of it!

Cheers,
Wuudy

Noone. All of the warhorses are great crowd pleasers. The Stones play to big audiences, for big audiences, not for a bunch of harcore fans. The real warhorses are 10-12, not more. If they play 10 warhorses + 10 other alternate "diamonds", i think the lists will be well- balanced.

I like Start Me Up.

There's bagsful of material that may no necessarily be 'warhorses' but that everybody would recognize. I'm still not payin' 300 bucks to see 'em... listened to Seattle '75 last night, the concert I attended. Very, very good for a '75 show. They teneded to be uneven in '75. You would never have known it at the show, but the boots extant tell the story, n'est-ce pas?

Honestly I still enjoy IORR. They've made it into a Chuck Berry number so its killer at any point in the show (preferably early). Satisfaction and Honky Tonk Women are the only two warhorses I would actually drop from every show. Like others have said, the hits are a necessity.

I'd like to see them play 19th Nervous Breakdown, The Last Time and Get Off My Cloud every show. Those are hits. Big hits. Still get radioplay. Why arent they considered warhorses??

Depends a little on at what point in the show and what they make out of it.

I'm certainly positively tired of

Tumblin Dice
Miss you
IORR

SMU (they may start with it tho, if they have to)
HTW (they may start with it tho, if they have to)

Never get tired of
JJF
MR
Satisfaction (but slower)

Tumbling Dice, I do not know, but since 72 they played it on ALL Tours. And it's worn out. Gimme Shelter is quite nice, but I've heard it also.
They should change the warhorses from concert to concert, like having a set of 4 songs which are played on every 3rd concert or so.

Why cannot they just play SOME WH at each show but not all of them (Satisfaction,JJF,SFM,HTW,S.me up,IORR,Sympathy, T.Dice etc.) in the same show!

Lose 'em all or play them just with the five of them.

Tumbling Dice. Used to be one of the best, but since the early 90s it's been butchered beyond any resemblence. Maybe if they did it without Lisa and Chuck ...

IORR. It makes me cringe that this tune, to many casual fans, is the Stones' anthem.

Tumbling Dice is a keeper- still my favorite live song after all these years. I totally disagree with the above post - if anything it's gotten better over the years. Killer riff...I love the versions where they extend it to 6 or 7 minutes. Pure bliss.

Tumbling Dice, Miss You and You Got me Rocking.

Not sure how YGMR got the status of a warhorse, but ever since 94 its almost always in the set list. TD has become a song of horns and back-up singers, Jagger hardly sings the chorus part and the guitars take a back seat to the horns. This is a song where Keith and Ron do more posing then playing. Same goes for Miss You.

Full hand. I´m with you totally.
If they ever intended to do Beast Of Burden, that´s the fifth card.
