I went to the Stones' August 8th 1975 show at that same stadium ( called Rich Stadium then) and it is NOT close to downtown. I stayed at a motel walking distance from the stadium...in Orchard Park...where I got a ticket from some Hell's Angels staying in the room next to mine....no lie! I paid $25 for General Admission and ended up RIGHT IN FRONT of the stage...98,000 there that sunny, hot day. The Outlaws and Bobby Womack opened up...what an amazing show and incredible memory. So, are there any Massachusetts fans driving out to this show? I would love to pay for a ride...and I can make hotel arrangements. I'm good at that! Email me...mickschix2@aol.com

Hey NewfieJay, what part of NL are you from. I am in Foxtrap, CBS. Also going to Detroit and Quebec. Are you travelling with others? I will be hanging in TO as a base for the Det/Buf shows - also in TO - Foo Fighters on the 9th, Primus on the 12th, the 10th is the start of Beaches Festival as well - free outdoor shows! Cheers!

Hey twotonguekisses! I'm from Lewisporte. I have a friend going to Buffalo with me but am also staying in Toronto. What's to do In Buffalo? Where are some good places to stay? Looks like the best I could find was D/T.

Decent seats in section 313 (row 3) for $119.00 and Section 136 (Row 4) at $170 level up on TM now.

You will have a great time! I live in Eastern Ontario and will be making the trek to Buffalo. Not sure if I will hang the day before and after in Toronto, Miagara Falls (Ont) or Syracuse. There is a motor-sport race in Syracuse on the Friday night that I might be going to and it is only 2 hours from Buffalo and will make for an easy drive on Saturday.

How do you upgrade within the same price range or exchange tickets? I just got off the phone with TM and they say Buffalo does not allow exchanges.

Do you have to call the venue directly?

Call TM back.

Be VERY nice.
Ask if they can get approval from the "promoter"...

BTW....for those coming in early to Buffalo, on Thursday, July 9 Mighty Mighty Bosstones are playing for free at an outdoor gig at Canalside.

Not a real fan, but certainly fun music to enjoy outdoors while having a beer or 10.

i won't be at the show in Buffalo (going to columbus and pitts) but have great memories of Rich Stadium (back then)... Went to see my first Stones show Sept 27th 1981....George Thorogood and Journey backing up.....black sky, wind and rain turned into sunshine when GT took the stage..What an experience ....!!@@##$% great 1st show

Noticed that last night and grabbed a couple in sec 131, row 27, aisle sets that butt up to section 132 , a bit of a side view angle but not bad for the price and best of all these are NOT obstructed view seats and they're fairly close to the stage.

For those looking for good seats at 2nd tier prices, the seats in sections 131 and 114 are not a bad deal and there are still some available.

Has anyone had experience with seats towards the back of section J (view/sound)? or something similar? I've never had floor seats.

I'd skip sec J, unless it was first row. A little too far back, with no upward slope.

Does the Bills sell Preferred Parking permits to special events like for The Rolling Stones? If so, how do you purchase?

There are a few types of preferred parking at the stadium for football games.

There are lots for Suite holders that allow parking on site closest to most of the gates. Reserved for people with tickets in boxes/suites.

There is a lot across the street (still part of stadium grounds) that is for RVs.

Lastly there is parking for those with handicaps very close to the main entrance on Abbott Road.

But is you can walk at all, there is PLENTY of parking between stadium lots and 'satellite lots' (private lots that are all around the stadium and run the gamut from regular parking lots to the front yards of houses to a college.

The only time I have had difficulty getting a spot there in 30 yrs was this past season, a couple of weeks after a storm dumped 7 feet of snow on Orchard Park. We generally handle 2 to 3 feet with ease, but 7 ft closed most of the satellite lots and the stadium lots lost spots as they had to have somewhere to pile all the snow! But July 11 should be in the high 70s or low 80s. Get there early and tailgate with 70,000 other Stones fans, and give yourself at least an hour to get in and to your seats.
