I don't know KC at all, so no suggestions I can throw your way...I've checked into couple places that were mentioned on this thread, but after staying Pittsburgh downtown, the budget has been substantially slashed for future lodging!

Yes, and she's with family. Why? Did I say something inappropriate? I think it's pretty awesome she's going -- my first show was at 16
I just went in the bank with my tongue t-shirt on and the girl complimented it - telling me her first show was Cardiff 1990 - she was 7 sitting on her dad's shoulders - I told her me & family including my mother-in-law was there too, aged 73.......(she said the opening riffs of Gimme shelter still make her spine tingle.....

Just got back to the states and the only show I can catch this time is KC.
Hope to meet some IORRs! Got Section B row 8 for $350 last week, and bought some Lucky Dips to bring my sister & neice to their first Stones show.

Does anybody have any hotel suggestions? I know it's 6 days away but I wanna be ahead. It turns out that if you wait for the last minute to make a reservation for a room in a really good hotel that they have none.

I will be stayin' at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown - wondered if any one's meeting up day before or on the day of the gig? Also not sure how I'm gonna get back to my hotel after the gig as I'm not driving... any suggestions?

For those who fly in here, there is a bus number 129 that is leaving from the terminals of the KCI airport every hour, it cost $1.50 and it takes you right into Kansas City downtown in 40 minutes. It leaves every hour see:
