This is effing insane. And what irks me is that we won't know what the prices are until we get on there tomorrow morning. Well, I'm just going for the regular tickets and will then see what the VIP packages are. They aren't going to sell those out right away, so I'm not worried about that.

That is horrible! We should be told what they are beforehand. Of course, the Powers that Be probably think, "Oh, they'll be well into the transaction and will just pay the price for fear of not getting anything."

Do you think they might put on regular sale/presale some of the front rows (AAA-CCC, A-G) or they will all be reserve for expensive ticket packages?

just tried presale...immediately at 10am CST USA. tried for 12 minutes..all prices. That 4/8 presale alotment seems to be gone. no luck.

yea, i was on it as well, right at 10, using US clock to time it perfect...nothing. then 10 minutes later one came up. keep trying

OK I see what they are doing. I just got shut out again in the platinum order. I was offered sec 19 row A seats 3&4 $256.00 Now thosee same seat are listed in platinum for $412.00.

They are changing the market live according to demand. WTF they offered me the tickets at a price I clicked buy was 25 min ist time 10 the second and they say tickets have not been found. Has this happened to anyone else?

Now I am really confused, AMEX PRESALE for Milwaukee offered GA Pit, covered PIT as options for $421 but there is no PIT on the map. Guess it doesn't matter, couldn't get the tickets anyway, they were gone. Still there arfe more presdales and a general sale to go as well as secondary market. Where is this invisible pit at the Marcus Amphitheater? I remember well the AEG Hyde Park fiasco of buying tickets for an area that after sales looked so very different, knowing there involvement, I hate to buy tickets for an area not even on the map!

Got a single Sec. 5 Row H as part of the Gold VIP. $457. Compared to the other VIP prices, I'm happy.

Got 4 in section 4 row H for $273. Now that I see what DEmerson paid, I wouldn't have done any better anyway as this was the price point I needed. Got them at 10:21 a.m.

That might (loosely) fit the description of the GA Lawn ? A pit...in the back? What was the pricing?

EDIT - nope, using the AMEX Password I now see "General Admission Pit" and "Pit - Covered Section" both for $421.95 vs $04.40 for the lawn. I wonder where these two pit sections are.


I nearly fell off my chair reading the "Official Platinum Seats" explanations, clearly stuff that is "set aside" to be sold with a nice markup. Incredible, as it wasn't complicated enough as it is with the amex pre-sales, the VIP packages, etc...It seems they are trying to confuse buyers as much as possible to get to buy tickets/packages they wouldn't normally have.
