Could snake into a small array from J street and reached this area. Very close to outer left field, almost behind the stage.

Gates were locked, but was able to take a photo through them where K street runs through the stadium.

tomorrow will be an event at Lucky Brands from 2-6pm. They will serve wine and stuff. and you can buy t-shirts 5th and market street.

Several of those are nice (and expensive as usual), but I hope there is a venue shirt and also a venue poster.

I got lucky today at Petco and got the first pics of the new stage, and met the T-Shirt guy, so got to see them all. There are about 20, plus jackets & posters. The booth opens tomorrow morning.

I can't figure out how to post pics here or I'd show you.

I asked around what hotel they are staying in, but not sure yet.

They might have the stage & sound ready by tomorrow afternoon for a possible rehearsal. They'll have to work all night though. Town is filling up with Stones fans

I will go tomorrow morning. Petco is 3 min walk from my accommodation.
It is almost midnight and I can see Petco still lighting on.

You found the spot to listen for rehearsal/sound check. It gets crowded, but it's closest to stage down that alley behind the outfield.

If they rehearse it will be late afternoon tomorrow. It might not be whole band, but I bet Mick & Ronnie will want to test it out.

I went to Petco Park yesterday to check out the stage construction. Even though I'm happy with my tickets, I figured I would swing by the box office at the stadium and ask about the ticket situation. I'm a Padre season ticket holder and I have a decent connection; I have a ton of friends who have been unable to score good seats (without paying ridiculous prices on the secondary market). Anyways, to make a long story short, I was told that no tickets would be sold at the box office day of the show. Further, it was noted that no more tickets would be sold by the Padres period (the Padres have handled all ticket sales). I'm sure this doesn't mean that tickets won't be released when they become "available." However, this show has just been a weird one that I can't figure out-- even for a tour opener. In the past, I have never had a problem buying premium tickets the day of the concert at the box office for any show.

We picked up our tickets yesterday directly at the ticket office and met Ismena in person. She was really nice and friendly. Thanks to her again.

Last night I was told where they're going to stay by someone I trust but I don't want to get that person in any trouble. The Stones are not commuting from L.A. for this show, they're here.
I am absolutely not an insider. I spent Wednesday night outside the Fonda Theatre in vain hope of getting in.
