They are getting the place ready. We saw the merch truck as well. We asked someone in the truck (which was empty) when merchandise would go on sale, he said tomorrow. I also saw a man (well-dressed in business attire) with a stack of small posters. I asked where he got them and he gave me one. I then started seeing them in all the shop and bar windows minutes later.

Billy Magee Blues Band will play tonight from about 9pm till about 1am at Patricks. I will get there about 10pm.This is a GREAT guitarist not to be missed if you are in Dan Diego. Let the Rolling Stones weekend party start!

To pick-up your tickets, please go to the Lucky Dip Entrance at Petco Park, located on 10th Street, near Park Blvd. This entrance is just around the corner to the Park Blvd. Gate. The gate will open at 6:00pm and close by 7:00pm, please ensure you have arrived by 7:00pm to pick up your tickets.

Seating locations are pulled at random. The line forms starting at 5:30pm - do not arrive early.

We will be using strict anti-scalper measures to ensure that these tickets go to Stones fans and don't end up on the resale market with wildly inflated prices. We appreciate your attention to the following, so that you have the best experience possible:

Your picture ID, confirmation number, and the credit card used to make the purchase are required for pick-up. You will not be permitted to pick up your tickets without these three (3) items.

You must pick-up your tickets and wristband in person, along with your guest. Once you pick-up your tickets and wristband at the 10th Street Entrance, you will need to immediately enter the venue for the show. Please note there is no re-entry to the event.

If we suspect any reselling or transfer of these tickets they will be immediately voided and you will not be entitled to any refund.

Gates open at 6:00, opening act at 8:00, and I'm not sure when the Stones come on. Whenever the opener is done I guess

Opening night of a Stones tour. Last time I was at a Stones tour opening night was on the No Security tour in Oakland. That turned out pretty good. Front row seats and several premiers. Not front row this time. But with all the rehearsal secrecy. It should be very interesting.

That was my last opening night as well...and what a show that was!

I see they have a Phil's BBQ in the stadium now?!!!!
I've been to their main BBQ joint near the San Diego Sports Arena, and it was damn good!

Arrived a little while ago, and what normally would have been a 3 hour drive from the north ended up taking closer to 5... aarrgghh.
Memorial Day weekend, and the random traffic jams due to several fender benders....

Just had a mighty fine dinner at a place called Urban India on 4th between C St. and Broadway. If you like Indian food, you will like this place.
And I heard they have an awesome buffet during lunch hours!
