There was heavy rain right after it (and one truly scary thunder right before- seriously, ask anyone else) so it went over pretty quickly.
Only Mick signed like three albums, I believe Topi got one. His voice in real life is loud like a bullhorn. I didn't get me guitar signed, but at least a big smile from Keef.

Yes, I got my CD cover (Still Life) signed by Mick.

Video evidence here: [www.youtube.com] - Mick appears at about 1:40. I'm the guy in the blue Paris event tee.

The highlight of last summer's tour and the whole last year, for sure!

It started raining a little just before they left the hotel and right after the cars were gone the rain came just POURING down.

That was cool to see you and also Nikkei with his guitar in the video.

Recognise you both from the pic that was posted.

Funny at the end when the bag fell outta the police car. smiling smiley

Yeah, was great. Just like crawddy mentioned, the bag falling from the car was quite funny.

No, "someone" can't post a pic of BV (or any other user of this board) without permission to do so. Do some research or mail him privately and you will find out.

Do you have access to the "One More Shot" 2012 TV broadcast?
BV stars in the opening montage there. He's the guy who'd go running with Mick.

Quick question for anyone who's been to a show. If my friend bought a floor ticket in a different section then us, would be he able to come stand by us? We are on the Aisle so that wouldn't be an issue as there isn't a seat.

or is the floor striclty enforced once you are on it?

Security will tell your friend to move the heck on and not block the walkway.

Now that we've had a couple of shows, can someone help me out with the Lucky Dip process? Are the better seats usually reserved for the first in line? Or the "wildest" fans? Or what? Just curious as to how I need to approach things!
Cheers!

Who's all ready for Dallas?? But to anyone who has Lucky Dips, where do you think we will be?

It's random, no way of knowing. They mark your name off a list and hand you a blank envelope from a stack of tickets.

And please, don't forget, if you get there with dreams of the VIP pit, and you end up with obstructed view in another zip code, immediately go to Client Services, or whatever they call them in each place, and nicely see if you can be upgraded. This worked for a lot of people on the 2013 tour.

My San Diego concert was the first time I ever had such close seats to the stage of any real large type of concert. It amazed me how far back I still felt from the principals onstage. I mean, yes, it was great to be in 3rd row center front runway section. But I learned how just one or two tall people or people constantly holding up their cell phones -how that can block your sightline.

To be helpful to any fellow Rookie fans who might be getting ready to attend one of the Stones' concerts, I thought I'd share this pic/idea. It shows Lady Gaga with Mick onstage. Check out her shoes-ridiculous, right? Platforms at least 10" high---not high heels--these platforms are an even, flat height.
Only good use I can see for such shoes would be to enable persons who aren't very tall to see better if behind tall people/cell phones.

Rather than having to shell out to buy these, maybe you could just a find a pair to rent for the night. Then again, I'm use to Vegas-you can rent anything here for however long you want. cool smiley Ciao.

One of my pals brings a little step stool to stand on at the McCartney shows she frequents. I have row 1 in Pittsburgh and row 6 in Raleigh. I may have to consider "something" for Raleigh. I dance throughout the concert and I'm afraid of falling off step stool. May have to look into platforms...I'm only 5'3".

I just bought a pair of platform shoes for the Summerfest gig. They are nearly 5" (!) high. ($27 @ Ross - not too much $$, and if it means the difference between seeing and not, well worth it). I Usually have no problems wearing heels up to 4", but 5" is new territory for me. I'll put those on right before the Stones hit the stage. I also bought some inexpensive, super comfy slippers w/ rubber soles that look like ballet flats to wear when I need to actually walk grinning smiley

Plink, looks like I'm going shopping today! Back in the day we wore platforms and although I don't normally wear heels these days, I think it's my best bet for the actual show. Have a blast!!!!!

To steffaliicia: Glad to hear you've got such wonderful seats for the next 2 that you're going to. I'm sure you'll love it!

Funny you should mention about a step stool because actually, before I got this idea about platform shoes, that thought had entered my mind. I think I've seen maybe in some small catalog/internet step stools that you can fold up the legs when not in use. Therefore be able to fit it in a back pack.

At 5'3" ya,you could probably benefit from extra height.. I'm 5'6"--wish I were 6' though!

Good luck with seeing over people-you won't have to worry about that though with your front row seat, probably...other than how high the stage is.

To Plink: LOL -A dream come true!
Did you ever happen to see a post well, probably about 2 months ago of a pic of "my very own personal little Mick Jagger"? It was based on a concept made a while ago by a poster lem motlow (sp?). I was told that lem mentioned the concept in reaction to how many people strongly wish they could get RS/Mick to do exactly what they (the fan) wishes.

But, you're right, with DNA we could have a true life clone, not just settle for this--see pic below
