Most interesting news for me is this: "The band is promising "a generous selection of previously unreleased Stones audio outtakes" from the album's sessions for the release, as well as live recordings from the time."

I'm curious how generous they will be as for those live recordings. Will Taylor be audible on them? I wonder.

If Taylor is audible, what else matters, imo.

Nothing! But I'm afraid he will be buried in the mix, just like they did with the sterile official Brussels Affair release. "In order not to trash down the current line up", to parapraze Jagger.

Yep, that's why I stick to the genuine Brussels recordings.

I'm happy for those parts of the country that haven't seen them in almost ten years. And the stadiums sound like a good time in the Midwest and Southern summer. As for myself, I'll have the Sticky Fingers bonus material. And I have to show the group the greatest respect, at their advanced ages, to be able to still pull off a stadium tour of this magnitude. No one will ever equal this.

thumbs up

And don't mention any of this in the Taylor thread because you won't get out alive.

Kansas City Shows the Pre Sale Dates for both American Express and Chiefs

Dallas / Arlington does not show any Pre Sale dates?

Am I missing something?

Each city is putting up the info at their own pace. The show I'm going to, Nashville, is behind, too.

They wont sell out with these ticketprices. Who Will pay $400-500 for a stadium that holds 60000 - 70000?

I paid GBP 750 for a third row ticket at the O2 back in 2012, but that was for a arena show with a fantastic setlist and guestartists.

I'm a little surprised most shows have an 8 p.m. start time. I wonder if that is a clue about opening acts. Are they going to have big name opening acts and then play close to midnight for stadium shows in the middle of the week?

Why do you think there are only 9 shows listed on ticketmaster.com ? What about the amex pre sales on axs.com ?

I'm a little disappointed that NYC zip code isn't included. But that's on me...I should've saw them when they performed in Newark the last time around.

That's just the price for the best seats. Ticketmaster shows the range starting at $48.

Here detail for Columbus show:

US $39.50 - US $395.00
US $39.50 (US $48.30 with fees)
US $395.00 (US $424.35 with fees)

It appears Columbus got the best deal on ticket prices. I'm worried the show I'm going to, Nashville, may have problems with $65 being the lowest and many people already spending money on Bonnaroo a few days before.

Granted you aren't quite as close in a stadium but if you're in the first few rows does it really matter if it's a stadium or an arena? The problem I have with stadiums is there's no place apart from the field where it's worth sitting. Once you get into the regular sections it's just too far away. Field tix it is...

Maybe the 8:00 PM start means no warm up? Or the Warm up band plays for 45 minutes and the Stones start at 9:30 then done at 11:30. And the 9:30 start allows for the sun to go down and it will be a little cooler out.

That could very well be. The late sunset is definitely a factor. I was just thinking that a major act opening may ask for an hour and may even want a nobody to warm up before them. An 8 p.m. start time makes that a tight fit and a very late night.

If anyone is curious about stage setup or ticket tiers, I would suggest using the Adelaide Oval show from last year as a guide (for American friends, NFL stadiums have a much smaller playing field than a cricket ground).

Some pics below. Plenty of youtube videos that can be found showing the screens, etc. Not sure on exact prices, but I think they would be comparable or even a bit cheaper (I think Adelaide ranged from $79 to $500).

And I doubt they are going to reinvent their stadium setup, pretty sure it would basically be what Adelaide had.

Ticketmaster account is free.
AmEx code is usually the customer service phone number on the back of the card.
Oh yeah you have to buy the tickets with the card too.

Good Luck,

Mike

Ticket touts already offering tickets on ebay at obscene prices. Some even claiming to offer specific sections and rows.

If legit it just shows how fixed ticket sales are if these people will actually get these tickets once sales start and how real fans like us don't have little chance at the primo seats at face value. angry smiley
