But on the other hand, if I look back at 2012, there were all those vague quotations about how nice it would be to hit the road again that didn't sound any more real than this and now we have The Stones on the road for the third year in a row. So who knows

Of course you're right about me being tough enough. It's BV's site and he tends to keep it very neat!

Now regarding Massey Hall (and other small gigs) - here's my way of thinking. This is BV's site filled with his faithfull followers. Many/most of them take his word as gospel. And that's fine!

It's my feeling that (since he has so many faithful followers/fans) HE should announce the date(s) and time(s) for the small gigs (should there be one/some). BV should also let this HUGE fanbase know about Massey Hall if it comes to pass.

I know I just said that "I'm tough enough/rough enough" (I've been with this organisation since 1972!! ) to handle the FEW posters who give me grief regarding 'secret' info. When I do get grief here, fear not......I don't lose sleep over it nor go I pull my hair out! What I do do, is simply react in the moment. In my opinion, that's just being human.

The last time I saw BV, he was on a TV newscast showing all the fans lined up to get into the Phoenix Theatre in Toronto. He was just one of the madding crowd. So, BV could easily have told the people at this site that the gig that night was indeed at the Phoenix.

Hopefully, that made a modicum of sense. Apologies for the lenghty post!

I too associate quite a few Stones' singles with the months of summer. Always had that transistor radio going throughout the summer months when not in school, and many memorable times while grooving to the latest by the Stones.

Happy that you "get it". About Spring/Summer - we're spending some time up at our retreat in Bala (Muskoka). Still some snow on the ground! However, the buds *seem* to be starting to sprout. And the various birds are returning from their southern vacation. By now.......we really do have hope!!
