“I know that Ringo is growing senile and losing his mind,” says Sir Paul, “but he doesn’t need to invent such idiotic stories to attract attention. He probably heard that Wings was about to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of fame and he felt jealous. I’ve seen Ringo do and say many stupid things in my life, but this is one of the worst! If he’s so badly in need of media coverage, he could just invent crap about himself without implicating me in his delirium” he added with spite.

Somebody recently told me that not everything you read on the internet is true.
This came as a huge surprise to me! eye rolling smiley

I thought Sir Paul is a vegetarian.

As @Deltics says, I guess I shouldn't believe everything I read on the internets.

Paul had died in 1966 and had been replaced by a look-alike named Williams Shears Campbbell, a claim which Paul dismisses as “the rambling of a senile old man”.

I never realized that Campbbell was spelt with a double 'b'.

Why does Ringo have two fingers up at every photo shot?
With Paul it used to be the thumbs up.
Most irritating.

He's just showing he was the 2nd best drummer in The Beatles.

Just Ringo's attempt to revel that Paul was replaced by a double. The two fingers
Stand for the 2nd Paul - now we know!

Not only is Paul dead, but so is the original replacement. In fact, we are up to the 8th replacement Paul. The rest? All dead!

Good player who fit exactly in with them ...

Played for the song and rocked it. He was really good. Hope he still plays .. There's two drummers usually in what he does now

He's had two drummers for as far back as I could remember. Concert For Bangladesh right after the Beatles was him and Keltner. I don't know if he just couldn't do it after the Beatles, but he never seemed to drum alone ever in a live setting (and most times in the studio) after The Beatles.
