IORR visitors live map

I got a great new tool at work. It is super pro and normally used by the largest web sites in the world for business analytics. Webtrends Streams. You see a snapshot of the visitors worldwide during the past sixty seconds. This snapshot is taken at 15:45 Central European time today, i.e. 2:45 UK time, 9:45 am EST, 6:45am PST etc.

Seems like IORR is not doing well in Asia and Africa... Speaking of statistics, this was my 5,000th post on IORR!

And the Stones could use it to determine where to play in 2015/2016.

I imagine big brother has a version where you click on the dot and a Google Street View comes up of the house the signal is originating from. eye popping smiley

peace

Hey, I see my dot.

I seem to be at the furthest North West point on the map.

I think that may be Tele at the dot just below me.

At 6:45AM I was on my way to my office and not logged on, so any of the dots you see in the L.A. area is not me spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

An updated map of IORR visitors during 60 seconds around 8:40pm Central European Time this evening:

So far in 2015 there has been 723,000 visits from 204 countries on IORR, they stay an average of 4,4 minutes during the visits. Poland has got the most dedicated fans on IORR of the top 20 visiting countries, staying an average of 9 minutes on the site every time they visit, while visitors from Denmark are fast browsers looking for quick updates during an average of 3 minutes visits. Still, don't read too much into these numbers; one day I will do a full analysis of IORR the web site that is.

I always keep an IORR tab open on my browser, whether I'm home or not. It might be open for days. I guess that means my average visit lasts until my IP renews. I'm surprised it isn't like that for a lot of people.

If your browser is open but you do not click any links within 30 minutes then your visit is expired and you will not show up in any statistics. IORR does not have any auto-refresh pages so basically your visit is over when you do not click any links anymore. The visit duration is the time between the first and the last click. If you do not click within 30 minutes your visit is considered expired ... because you probably do something else then. 101 web analytics...

I never knew until a few months ago that there was even such a thing as "web analytics." Sign me up for the remedial course.

There are 204 countries (possibly more) in the world? I would venture that Dylan on his Neverending Tour has visited most, if not all. Will the Stones be next?

It would be nice if we could determine famous persons spot real time.
Like Keith in Connecticut if he's ever online.
Or just your own, like some of us already did.

Let it rock!

It's nice that today's visitors included Bahrain and New Delhi. Truly a global community here on IORR!
