Sorry, I read "last decade". That are the people above, but of the last decades, too: Johnny Winter, Frank Zappa, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Paul Kosoff, Jimmy Page.

Since he's only been active about two decades, no, not really. I don't like everything he plays but in a purely technical sense he's head and shoulders above the competition, and he keeps getting better.

The last couple of years I've been listening a lot to this guy. He writes his own music, has a nice signature style and isn't too "flashy". I know it's probably not everybody's cup of tea, but I like it
If you like good jazz, check out Lage Lund.
