I think I remember someone said he/she saw them late 1963.

Jimmy Phelge and another guy here who used to see them in 1963 are probably the ones.

If I remember correctly - user King Bee saw them on their second British Tour at the Rochester Odeon, Kent, on 1st November 1963. He was 11 years old.

There are some earlier gig attendees, for example user finn who saw them in March 1965, in Fyens Forum, Odense, Denmark. (third post)

My mum was at the Odeon, Nottingham, October 23rd 1963. She had gone to see the Everly Brothers and has very vague memories of seeing the Stones.

I think we had a thread on this before.

A guy who lives in my grandmother's apartment complex (flats) in London was a bouncer in the early 60's. He knows I'm a huge Stones fan so told me about the only time he saw them. He remembers working the door in mid '63 in some club in London and the Stones playing. He said he didn't have any idea who they were, they were just another band. His memory of the event was honestly very vague. He did say he helped the band pack their gear into a van afterwards. He also said the band didn't really fit in with the crowd they were playing to. I took that to mean jazz vs. blues but not sure honestly.
