I believe either Ron's son or daughter is involved. I noticed a number of Ron's
celeb friends that were on the guest list at his New York shows are included
In this event. Earl Slick being one. Not really sure of the mechanics of this
charity but anything that draws attention and addresses the health of our oceans
Is a positive thing indeed. A surprising number of stones offspring involved here
To not have a visit from a father or two. I suppose it depends where they all are
around the globe - so who knows. NYC in the middle of January is not nearly as
enchanting for the fathers as their kids. Hey maybe the stones will use this
event for a surprise show/tour announcement - this would give lots of needed
Publicity to the charity....

The Stones wont do an announcement of a tour on this night i believe. the event and cause is important.

I think an announcement will be made in march, when they will talk about a future release of Sticky fingers in April.
