A very lovely sentiment. I also wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy (and Healthy) New Year. Although I'm making preparations and even plan to bake some cookies, I'm just not into the holidays that much this year. My heart is heavy with all the bad news in the world. All the needless suffering, war, hatred; I guess nothing has changed, really. Human beings being human beings...we're truly capable of doing so much better. Each and everyone of us can do it in some small way. So I must hang onto the notion that someday the world will be a better place. Sounds simple and childish, but I don't know what else to think at the moment.

Wish it was Christmas Eve...I could do with a few too many glasses of Champagne right now!!

Very well said, Bellajane. Sometimes we feel sad or upset because of the bad things other people say or do, and for a long time I'm trying to keep away from this kind of thing.
