They used to be partners in crime (60's-70's) now they're business partners 1989-now).

Have Mick and Keith become friends again?

Do we see photos like this in later years?

Yep (and by the time the pic you posted was taken, they were supposed to hate eachother smiling smiley )

OK, that's fair enough--but the photo I posted was taken offstage, whereas the ones you posted were shot onstage as they play their respective roles in what Mick has lately called their "strong working relationship", which is how he describes his association with Keith, being highly dismissive of the "brothers" term. Now, if you can find a recent post-2010 photo of Mick and Keith out to dinner together, seated at the same table, then I would be convinced. smiling smiley

But maybe they don't play role when they're on stage... confused smiley We can't really have an answer about it.

He he, that'll be more difficult.

Remember that these pros play a role in front of a camera be it on and off stage.

Living in separate continents for decades might have had something to do with less good ol' buddy-time, too...

..or in the same building together in a non-working situation.

we see instagrams, facebook photos, celebrity mentions, fans spotting them etc.
of charlie at dinner with mick, ronnie by the pool with keith, mick and ronnie at dinner...

i'll make it even easier-find something from the last 20 years, anything. at dinner, someone elses show, dropping by a studio to say hello-there doesnt even have to be a photo,i'll take a first hand account from someone who was there.
these guys have access to private jets that can fly them anywhere, one phone call and they're on a gulfstream and crossing the globe in a matter of hours-whens the last time you heard of one of them stepping foot in the others home?

mick zips down to the turks for a few days to hang out and play some music and you've got the start of a new album-hows that new album coming along?

2005 in Mick's home in France, albeit planning the work they'd do on ABB...

No use in trying smiling smiley

But they didn't have to do it just the two of them, the way they did. That was my point.

the really sad part of it -they probably avoid each other for fear another spat will make it tougher on the band and their future live work.

At the Somerset House London 2012 50th anniversary exhibition they were seen, ust the two of them together, looking at some of the exhibits, commenting, laughing etc.

As Keith will be in Australia next month on Pirates film work, maybe Mick will assemble the others and progress work on a new album.
Keith then can fill in his parts later,at a seperate location.

Do you have pics or first-hand evidence on Mick and Keith hanging together socially lately? No, neither do I - hence no point in trying to find it/convince someone that they did. All the people in the know say they practically hate eachother on a social level.

I still found it interesting that they chose to work so closely together on the ABB-album. No contract ordered them to do it that way.

There's a weirdly hostile vibe among some of you when talking about the Mick/Keith relationship. Are some of you mad at them for not being best buddies or something? They have found a way to make it work so they can continue doing the only thing they both enjoy. Not even Charlie himself can wedge himself between those two guys. Whatever dysfunctional relationship Mick and Keith have between themselves is their own thing. No one outside should have to understand it.

Show me in any of my posts where I claimed I did have " first hand evidence". By claiming you don't either expands the comment you made " no use in trying"

It EXPLAINS my comment. Read the comment I was replying to.

I was being rhetorical about "first-hand evidence". I never meant to say you had posted that.

To put it simple: They don't hang around socially. Hence "no use in trying".

As far as not socialising goes, there have been a number of credible reports that Keith disliked L'Wren, who was Mick's partner from 2002 to 2014. I think that would have a lot to do with it, apart from any other reasons.

Do people need to socialise with their business partners and workmates?
