After a little 'relaxing' I went looking for the empty space that bv referenced.

June 12th show in Orlando and June 17th in Nashville has the biggest gap of five days. Besides the mentioned potential Sea/SLC May 27th gig. Any speculations??
I'm going with that's when they do Red Rocks as originally speculated. Don't need a stage.. Don't need a weekend date to fill seats..Send the gear...fly in fly out.

Now.. back to my previously scheduled relaxing..

And what about the empty space in the table which precedes the Petco date ?

The time between orlando and nashville is not right. I don't think they would do colorado then. Either the rumoured dates will change or they have a private gig or studio or filming or maybe more rest time?

It's a very easy detour to my house between Orlando and Nashville, just saying.

It seems to me that B.V. may have been hinting at something happening BEFORE the San Diego show

Since they're in the Southeast for Jacksonville on the 12th and Nashville on the 17th, maybe they'll play at the Ryman Theater in Nashville or the Fox Theater in Atlanta, instead of going back up to altitude at Red Rocks?

The post distinctly says "empty space In the table"... And i believe bv chooses his words carefully..

The speculation about a Nokia or Club gig in LA pre-tour is, I believe separate from this latest clue.
Course, like I said.. it's legal here in Washington State.

A detour to Fallon or Kimmel might be more likely, but even then somewhat unprecedented.

What a different attitude ..the who started to sell their american dates 1 year in advance and the stones few weeks before.. Or few days after the concert has happened.. Different point of view
THe Stones have a unique situation.. We learned these promoters get involved in the performers personal health in the Michael Jackson trial. Of course they did him only harm having him continue but we saw some of the process and how hands on they are once the insurance and dates are put in place. With The Stones there is Charlie's health history and Keith and Ronnie's past. Couple that with Mick's already postponing a tour which cashed some insurance checks and they have a bigger mountain to climb than Roger and Pete. We can send some positive energy to our boys as I'm sure many fans here have. Perhaps it's something as simple as needing to announce the shows even closer to the dates for less insurance risks. I am convinced from seeing Taylor's FBK which has focused on him as a Stone for the last week or so that he'll have a role although I don't buy into him as the saviour replacement that can solve their complicated issues.

The billboard that went up this week in San Diego, along the 8 freeway was covered up with another non-Stone billboard today. It was only up for 3 days. Very troubling.

Nah, Not really troubling.
those billboards get rented and if everything would have gone as planned they'd be done with it already.
the next company renting the billboard was on list long before.
Stones may want to rent them again when its time.

These disappearing billboards are scaring me too. What could possibly cause them to do that with an impending tour announcement scheduled? Are the promoters too cheap to keep them up till March 31st? Just saving face because of the Thursday thing doesn't seem right either since any Thursday would do. Something doesn't seem quite right here........

peace

May simply be a matter that they've yet to finalize the new date, and until they do they have nothing really to advertise.

No. They rent the space for a fixed period. And then it's someone else's turn, all contracted far in advance. Stones billboards may still be up in locations where no one is lined up to rent the space.

BV has already told you not to be scared, and to enjoy the weekend.

Other companies book these billboards too. they also have schedules for their markets. Pfizer viagra, for instance, wouldn't want to lose that week advertisment spot before easter, would they? heh.

Where did Jacksonville come from? confused smiley Jax and Orlando are not the same place. And the Stones at the Ryman (or the Fox, for that matter) is never going to happen, way too small. Amazing though it would be.

I'm still thinking the empty space between Orlando and Nashville will be Bonnaroo. The tour logistics and festival dates workout perfect.
All you Chuck haters will catch a break when Billy Joel joins the Stones on stage for She's A Rainbow.
One day tix go on sale in a couple days.

Radius Clause:

Bonnaroo's "radius clause" stipulates artists cannot play a show within 300 miles of the festival within a 60-day window on either side of the weekend, said Ashley Capps, founder of AC Entertainment and co-founder of Bonnaroo.

(This would affect gigs in Nashville and Atlanta)

I'm sure any clause would quickly get waived for the Stones.
Maybe they won't announce that they'll be performing at Bonnaroo until that weekend.
Worst case the Glimmers join Billy for a surprise...
I'm thinking Keith will sing Captain Jack with Billy.
Mick - it's just a fantasy

Those clauses don't get waived. And Bonnaroo will sell out anyway, it doesn't need the Stones.

Aaaah. I see what you mean now... Indeed a literal empty space in the table. I was thinking it as more of a time thing. I still like my Red Rocks concept tho..

Good catch, and you are likely right.

*This may very well influence peoples decision on whether to legalize or not.

Red Rocks would have to be on the 15th which would give them 1 day off between shows. June 22-25 is conspicuously open on a pretty much full summer calender at Red Rocks. Now I will join you in relaxing by getting "shattered!" Gotta love Colorado.

Not to quibble, but if "time" is the nature of the "space" what about the space between San Diego and Columbus ? That's six days worth of space.

The Stones will somehow be worked into the Bonnaroo Fest - you'll see.
And Bonnaroo doesn't need any big names to sell out. It's going to sell out before anyone confirms the Stones will be playing. And don't forget about the Cockroaches. I bet they aren't scheduled to play within a 300 mile radius.

Hello everyone,

Long, long time lurker (even back from the old Rocks Off Board). The excitement over the potential tour has compelled me to register if only to thank BV and all of you in this community who are constantly keeping us clued in to the news, rumors, dates, venues etc.
I live in NYC and even though Im kinda bummed out it doesn't look like there will be a show in the area Im already psyched about taking my wife on a 6 hour road trip to either Pitt or Buff to see our heroes again (who am I kidding, if they are both weekends we will end up doing both most likely).Already have booked a hotel for Pitt and looking into different Buff options as I'm watching the Four Flicks theater dvd and enjoying a beer this snowy weekend.
Having the Stones still on the road in 2015 is a blessing, so I will try not to waste my time worrying when an announcement will be made, how pricey the tixx will be and how far we will have to travel....instead I will happily imagine the moment we hear Keef's first riff and see Mick prance to the front of the stage and it will all be worth it!
