Many thanks to everyone for the comments and great pictures from the Auckland showsmiling smiley I hope this is not the final show and the Stones continue with additional touring in 2015. The Stones are currently on fire but maybe too much time off does not necessarily bode well for the future of touring. I am hoping the Stones can pull together the South American shows in November/December '15. So maybe 7 or 8 big USA (southern) Stadium shows in May/June and 3 or 4 large out door UK festivals in late June and early July followed by a dozen or so South American shows in Nov/Decsmiling bouncing smiley
And they should think about Lappland in the north of sweden, they never did a show here. Would be great if they can put that show arround midsummer.smiling bouncing smiley

There are sites stating the rolling stones are booked for Rock In Rio in May, bv said we could get some shows in Nov. / Dec. according to some sources, that they really want to tour South America, Mick Jagger said today: "This is our last gig of this BIT of the tour tonight.", so.. I don't think this will be the last show unless someone gets really ill. This band surprised us so many times over the last half decade and I don't think we are at the end yet.

Looks like a great concert again tonight. Wishing everybody safe travels home.

Good idea - but they'll have to wait a while if they want to play after sunset.

Meanwhile: that one the official site tweeted is from Brisbane again. This is the real final bow:

Great show…Lisa on Gimme was fantastic she walked up to Keef and Ronnie separately during it and just hung with them….if you were there and saw it you know what I mean….she was saying great tour, you guys are great…this isn't about me..its about us…all the while she was slowing cooking the vibe….was fantastic to see the interaction to an end of show gig….and the mist with the wind during the entire show was also very very surreal..i bet people with decent cameras will have some fantastic shots…Great end to the tour….

And here's that T-shirt. We were all wrong - it's Keith himself, as Sitting Bull:

Looks like it may be generally available - I want one!

Great photos as always, latvianinexile!

It'd be fair play for the sites that "borrow" to give you credit for 'em.

If South America doesn't happen in first part of year, we may have to wait for the upcoming London gigs.

If we are really, really lucky, one of them will be Hyde Park on Sunday June 28th. Everything will be in place for them after previous two days and a fairly easy job getting it all set up for The Stones crew.

Two days after The Who gig. winking smiley

That would be great! I was anxious for the february/march SA concerts, but I will change my plans if this really happens.

Keef ripped Sympathy, about 20 meteres away from me, it was like he wound the clock back to '69. Insane! Buzzing too much to write a full review, that will come tomorrow.

"If South America doesn't happen..."

Am I missing something? I thought there are strong rumours about South America in first year's part. Did something change?

That would be fantastic - a similar story as when I first saw the Stones, 21.5.'76 and then 12.6.'76 for the Who in Swansea's football ground............then later, Knebworth....

Start as you mean to finish, sounds like a plan............

So Europe, Japan and Australia were a bit of a mirage.

I somehow imagine that if they were to play in London they'd prefer to go for a different outdoor venue rather than repeat one they've played at only recently. I'd be very happy to be proved wrong, though!

Has never been used for concerts and probably will stay that way.
