sure! Tokyo "Silver Train" was rough, while the Brisbane version was a pure joy. Still the crowd was wondering what this song was all about, but the band delivered a lot, a lot. I waited for the moment when Mick picked up the harmonica. It took forever, but in the end, we could hear the train coming. Thank you Mick. Thank you Stones. Thank you Brisbane!

Actually, I think he wants his guitar to be louder. He wouldn´t dare to correct Charlie.
I thought he was signaling to have his amp louder. He did it a couple times in the song and pointed to the amp. I think he had the Strat running through the Oahu amp which was between Keith and Daryl's amps. Taylor was standing directly in front of it. After a couple of bars of his solo you can hear him flip to the neck pickup.

He always seems to be doing that for some reason...actually someone made some good points about that in the "We want more MT" thread I believe, saying it showed how "stressed out" he was to only have a couple of spots on stage...possibly preventing him from getting more spots as they didn't want someone "stressed out" on stage, oh well, it's almost over.

You know there are few things more underwhelming in a live setting than quiet, clean slide guitar, particularly offset against a rhythm guitarist like Keith Richards and a drummer like Charlie Watts.
Remember that Taylor is accustomed from his solo gigs to running his own effects pedals, which he can't do with the Stones because the stage has to be free of stuff Jagger might trip on. That's why you see Taylor shouting at Pierre so much, and I can understand why he gets frustrated on stage.

What's he playing through at the moment, anyway? Is it still the Ampeg? For some reason I thought he was using the Magnatone at some point, but I may be wrong.

He should get the sound he needs. There's no way his horsepower can compete with two gassed up Twins driven by a Tele and Wood's CS Showmans???. His tone on ST was way too clean, still he explored the fingerboard and took risks as he's still an improvisor not a copycat. The train has left the station for true genius guitarists in today's world of rock 'n' roll.Quote
