Wow indeed! What a way to end - I am really happy for you. Just feel ever so slightly nervous that evidently problems with Mick's voice aren't entirely resolved and either it'll get stronger or - I won't say it! Am leaving the UK on Friday for Brisbane - invested everything in one show. Stupid? Maybe but I had neither the time nor money for anything more. Well whatever happens you won't hear me complaining but wish me luck!

Just home. My first time in the Pit and wow, what an overwhelming experience. Great show.

Mick's voice was noticeably flat, right from the start of JJF. I think it gradually improved as the night went on, maybe because he was saving it at the start, knowing he had to get through a full show. I glimpsed him blowing his nose and coughing a few times too. He mustn't be fully better yet, but he was still full of that ridiculous energy that he gives at every show and it was evident he (and the entire band) were enjoying themselves.

Loved the setlist, when IORR was played in the #2 slot I feared an abbreviated show, but Respectable, Paint It Black, Bitch and the Keith triple header were nice surprises. Shame we didn't get Out of Control though. Midnight Rambler was so much fun, although at times Mick T doesn't look to be enjoying himself all that much.

Still, an amazing night. How the hell am I going to get any sleep now?

8. Honky Tonk Women

Mick saving his voice improved the show.
The band got more solos, more riffing, it felt looser, dirtier, less choreographed. Mick and Keef were having a ball.
Mick even danced more, we got a few awesome rooster struts.
I was in rail in front of Micks mic.
Greatest show,of my life.

very interesting show setlistwise. the leftout numbers which are
usually in the set tell what Mick probably perceives as challenging.
surely they will play those when he feels up for it. it's nice to see
Paint It Black back on the list, i had already thought Keef had given
up on that intro. Respectable is also a great choice of semi-rarity =)
did Keef say something about his opportunity for a longer set? and how
long does the average MR last on this leg of the tour? up until Roskilde
it just kept getting longer and longer

Loving the surprises in the setlist. A night off from Doom & Gloom is allright but I agree with the posters that pointed out that OOC has been a consistent highlight this tour.

Mick's adlib about losing his voice in MY made me smile, thanks for mentioning that. I love hearing about those little moments.
