Hang Fire - you mean you want those electric blues songs played on acoustics? Why?

Mad props to all of you for your lists. Maybe this is the year She Was Hot will FINALLY be pulled out. Or Had It With You. Aside from the ones already mentioned:

Flight 505
Summer Romance
Complicated
Its Not Easy
2000 Man
Jump On Top Of Me
So Young
Sad Sad Sad (without brass/horns)
Run Run Rudolph (around Christmas)
Parachute Woman
Crying Waiting Hoping (Buddy Holly cover)

I think they likely play 3 songs on B-stage:

I,d love to hear

Heart of stone
Time is on my side

The whole gig, for me they can quit the main stage, the background singers and all the brass and horns completely.

...She's So Cold

...Flight 505, yeah!

Can't You Hear Me Knocking
Slave
Midnight Rambler

Can't think of any better B-stage material.

A selection of the mid-60's hits would be nice.

How about The Last Time, Get Off Of My Cloud and 19th Nervous Breakdown.

They've of course all been done on recent tours, but nowhere near enough

Big Al: I'm with you. The small stage should be 1964-1969 material only ..... maybe even 1964-1966 only.

Your selections are perfect. For a little variety they could rotate in:
It's All Over Now (played like they recorded it); Mother's Little Helper: Have you Seen Your Mother ....; Time is on My Side; Heart of Stone; Play With Fire.

only one---The Last time

at the risk of sounding like an old-timer, I'm in agreement with Bob & Al. Songs like YGMR are a waste on the small stage. Let it Bleed has worked well there in recent times. Rooster goes down well, there, too. The Last Time was tremendous there in '97...
