In fact I was takin a little piss here: I guess many realize.
But one day people may place ONNYA in this category.

I believe I´m into Rambler too.
But if covers count; I´d take anything by Mr Berry:
maybe Little Queenie.

Being from Texas I can say that HONKY TONK WOMEN and TUMNLING DICE gets even the lamest people in the crowd to jump out of their seats.

I saw MR in Hartford 3 times and loved it. Twice on the B stage in 1999 and as the encore during the Licks tour. If I could pick only one, however, it would be 19th Nevous Breakdown or Get Off My Cloud.

"Midnight Rambler" was abandoned for a time in the 80s, but it came back with a vengeance in 1999 and the Licks Tour. The definitive "modern version" is on the MSG show from Four Flicks--simply awesome--perfect tempo, perfect tone, perfect performance by MJ--threatening, but not overboard. This is becoming my favorite version ever, because you see them at work, and Keith & Ronnie prove that they still have the chops to carry the song as it should be played--down & dirty, and screw virtuosity.

Oh no not you again seems to be a good live filler at least. Midnight rambler used to be the best one. Happy in the 70s of course. Out of control is strangely their best one now imo. Don't care about the song but it works live no doubt about it.

It came back in 1989, and the 89-version (listen to Atlantic City) was superb!
