Yes that track. I saw the hand written lyrics to that track many, many years ago (1970's) and written was "I Just Want To Be With The Boys"..It was up for sale,it was a U.K. auction house trying to sell it. but I did not buy it. It was also said it was written on the beaches of Australia. But you are right, I should have noted the released title along with the other title as not to confuse anyone.

Wont this breach ABKCO copyright/ownership rules?

Not if it's not a performance ABKCO released. At least that's my understanding.
So we can hope it's not the Charlie Is My Darling footage - maybe they did perform I'm Moving On in Australia.

I'll order it from Oz if RockMan and HM tell me it's worth it.

I watched it today I bought it in Melbourne Australia. It's not Essential. The highlight is some silent live footage on stage in Sydney with many great close ups of the band for about 2 minutes with the backing of " I'm moving on" live from the Decembers children album ( I think ). With some footage of the stones at a party , And some press conference footage. 90 % of it is about the Aussie dj ward Austin and his day to day activities. As usual the stones are used to sell the DVD. Oh well

Hey yeah Anitapal82 ... picked it up today in Melb today and only just
finished watching but very disappointing ... as ya say most of it is about Ward Austin and the Stones footage takes like maybe 5minutes of the whole thing ....

Kinda as expected, I'm Moving On being played in 1966 did seem a bit odd.

Too bad it wasn´t more interesting...

I´m Moving On was played at least once in 1966 - at the Olympia/Paris, March 28.

Of course, I got confused by the (wrong) date on my bootleg.

I have yet to be dissapointed by it.

Hopefully the Easybeats Olympic Studios footage will make it worth it for me. grinning smiley

I too watched it today after buying it in Melbourne Australia.

On balance it has NO redeeming features.

It's not at all about The Stones, it's about an Australian DJ called Ward Austin. There are a few shots of The Stones - arriving, some cut up interview, getting ready to go on stage, and some stage shots (screaming girls etc etc).

Ward is actually not at all nice about The Stones (he openly stated that he dislikes them as people).

The music is all taken from ABKCO release era (did they have permission?). The version of 'Movin On' is probably the 'Got Live' version, and there's a bit from 'Charlie is My Darlin' dropped in at one point. The booklet with the DVD is close to unreadable (white print on pale green in places), and it prominently quotes from the IORR lyrics without crediting.

On top of that the entire thing is out of lip synch, and all of the music is played too fast - as if they have the speed wrong (25fps instead of 24fps?).

If you are a terminal completeist anal collector in need of regular medication, then this is for you. Otherwise don't waste your money.

(International buyers intent on wasting their money can be reassured that the DVD is labelled as being Zone Free. Dunno if it is, or is not, but that's how it's labelled.)

Man I always wanted this movie to be found. It really is out of synch? That's a pet peeve. What a letdown, but I love the Brian era so much I cannot rule getting it out. Is the live footage at all good? Are there any good interview moments?

Even the Easybeats film is out of sync with audio as well.

The DVD is shit.
