Vote for the Stones to play your song choice in Adelaide!

Ladies and gentlemen, they are back! The Rolling Stones are about to light the fuse of their 14 ON FIRE tour of Australia and New Zealand in Adelaide and, as ever on this worldwide sold out tour, would like you to vote for a song they’ll perform.

The band will take to the stage for the inaugural concert at the Adelaide Oval in front of over 53,000 fans.

Fans have a choice of five songs from some of the Stones’ most loved albums, Stripped, Exile On Main St, Some Girls, Emotional Rescue and Sticky Fingers.

Voting is now open on RollingStones.com and the band’s official app. Tomorrow it will open on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Tumblr.

I picked 'Some Girls'...not enough *recent* performances of that, but I'm pretty sure EM will 'win by a landslide' .

Not a bad list for Adelaide. Only "Rocks Off" has been played there before from that list .... and that was over 41 years ago.

Judging by the rehearsals however,it looks as though "Like a Rolling Stone" has been rigged to win.

So be it. Perhaps they will get that one out of the way early on in this leg of the tour and then the other songs will have a shot to 'win' in the other shows.

I voted Some girls but LARS is also good. They play really good this tour that's the most important thing to me, the rest is bonus.

I agree and still vote anyway. At least they can see that there is a demand for certain songs if I attempt to rationalise it. Of course it is also a triumph of hope over reason.
