The man in the photo with Keith was identified - correctly - a couple of pages back. It's FOH engineer Dave Natale.

What's interesting/puzzling is thye need the Man to handle the board for a bunch of rehearsals... Wouldn't an assistant be more than enough?

But if they have a pro on the board for the rehearsals, it will make the eventual bootleg sound that much better.

There's a pretty good idea, a good way to satisfy us fans that complain about songs rehearsed but never played live. Just a thought. Would be a nice way to let us hear some rarities and continue playing the hits for the masses at concerts. Maybe a win-win situation?

Tokyo 2014 is indoor too

You need the same sound man at rehearsals - to know who plays what, when in songs for better mixing during gigs. Its as much part of the rehearsal for the sound team as for the band.

Disappointed in no feedback on songs being rehearsed. Is it not audible or is nobody there? (the weather can't be as miserable as Paris was for us some days earlier this year...)

Especially since they rehearsed Time Waits For No One during the European leg. At least I think they did. I recall reading that somewhere on this board at the time.

Well bv posted some pics of a crumpled list of songs where it appeared but no one actually heard them rehearse it so it's likely that list was something Chuck had come up with in preparation for the rehearsals. There was some other strange stuff, like "Flight 505" I think. OTOH they did rehears "Till The Next Time (say Goodbye)".

Anyway, the coming week is sure to be exciting ;-)

Oooooh, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms DP...

Any European IORRers made the trip down under (other than Bjornulf who is clearly there) ? I'd imagine some who booked for the original dates can't return due to a shortage of leave from work, extra costs etc.

Nice one Bjornulf. If they're sounding that good already I'd imagine they've already been rehearsing elsewhere (London or Paris perhaps) before coming to Australia.

You might be just about flying the flag for the European contingent over there!

'The Worst' would be a welcome return imho. Good to see 'Out of Control' too.

I figured that maybe they would go with a Richards lead vocal song from ' Bridges to Babylon ' instead of " The Worst " .

The have already played " The Worst " in Australia on 2 different tours.

No 'Bridges' tracks at all live in Australia or in New Zealand as far as I can recall.
