I saw this alternate video for the first time today - it is really cool, though it´s 20 years old….but is there a better version (quality, picture & sound) in circulation?

Wow this solves a bit of a mystery for me. The official promo video for IGW was a "live" concoction that I was never much of a fan of. I can remember seeing a short few second video of this track on the Stones CD ROM they brought out in '95 and have always been intrigued that I've never managed to find the full version as I thought from the few seconds I saw that it was a beauty. Thanks FoolToCry.

This is much better than the live version for me. Another missing gem would be Anybody Seen My Baby with Angelina Jolie. Also Saint Of Me was another great one never released in HD. They made some really good videos through the years.

Wow that was excellent...this may be an obvious question or observation, but isn't that a different track altogether than the album version?

I've never particularly loved the song, or so I thought but this version is far better than what they actually released. Micks vocal is totally different to my ears.

Why in the hell was this passed up? I also think it's far better than YGMR and should have been the follow-up single.

Hell, it should have been the lead single! Good video too.

I Go Wild was released in two versions : album version and Scott Litt Remix version (which actually is more like an alternate mix). This promo video version sounds like the album version to my ears.

i remember this was aired in italy at some point at that time

I like it. There were a handful of cuts from VL that still hold up.

hmmm...Mick's vocal sounds different to me than on the album version.

It was released. Filmed in Mexico City in January and used in order to promote the Latin American leg of the Voodoo Lounge Tour. Aired countless times on MTV Latin America back then.

There is another video version of Anybody Seen My Baby, it's called Reel 2. Don't think I've ever seen an uncensored version. Maybe it doesn't exist? Anyhow, there's a rather large woman shedding fat in the shower, she turns into Angelina Jolie if I remember right. Also, never saw a HD version of I Go Wild, the gray and balding version.

Agreed, much better, imo.

Not sure if this song or The 40 licks tracks being discussed elsewhere are the very worst things the band have ever done. It's tricky.

Many fans love I Go Wild. I'm not one of them, but I can understand why. At least I like some fragments of the song.

In a live setting, it worked much better, imo.
