You know people ask me: it is really true where you live
in Texas, it is really true what they do around there, people?
I say, "yeah everytime I drive through the crossroads I get
scared there's a bloke running around with a f*cking chain saw.

When you're down in Texas, Bob Wills is still the king!

I've actually never heard of the band Texas. I, too, was confused when I saw the subject line.

He obviously wants tickets to see the world famous University of Texas ("Texas" ) Longhorns football team in Austin. Just send me all of your money and I'll get you front row seats.

I wonder if this band from Scotland has ever been to Texas? Watched what I could stand of them on YouTube and I'll definitely pass on this one. These guys sound like everything I don't like about commercial music these days. peace

Texas sold fast during the pre-sale and I missed it. I was, however, able to snag Arkansas and the panhandle of Oklahoma. Still a few states left if you don't mind cold weather and high taxes. I think there are still a couple of panhandles available, too. People keep putting them in their cart an tossing them back.

I don't have a problem getting in to see Texas, just getting out. I've got a free ride there and a place to stay but I need a a ticket home from Austin to Knoxville but $350-$400 is a bit steep. What may be my most realistic chance to get to Austin for a few days might end up being priced out of range. Bummer. Was really looking forward to having the chance to see the sights and "check out the scene" for a few days.

Peace,
Mr DJA

BTW I knew who you were talking about, but I'm not surprised of the confusion about them here, as popular as they are they fly under the radar, they haven’t played in the USA since their first CD that had “Prayer for You” on it, which is a copy chord wise of “Sympathy for the Devil”

Texas? Haven't heard of them since the 80s. Female singer, right?

Saw them support Simple Minds in the 80s. A good bandgrinning smiley
