I recorded the show at the Empire Pool Wembley on Sept 8. Maybe the Stones' want to put that one out. Still have the tape!

@Silver Dagger, what quality is your Sep-8-73 show in? You may not want to share the whole show but perhaps you can share a sampler for us to drool over. Based on the existing audience tape of Sep-8-73, the YCAGWYW is on par or even better than the Sep-9-73 show. The GS is done very similar to that show as well, though would like to hear a better copy to hear more of Keith's power chords.

the 13.7. show does not sound like audience to me, doubt that they used a bootleg audience tape for this

I am of the opinion that the shows from the 11th and 12th have been mixed up by us fans for years ans still are mostly up to today. I think that the date (12th) on the official From The Vault release is correct. Why should they write a wrong date on the cover, when they have the original tapes? And btw. the Empress Valley box has the same dates as the official one and comes from the Millard masters and I think Millard labelled his tapes correctly. For me the video show is from the 12th, not the 11th. But to each their own opinion of course.

The Ward Records Deluxe version has an additional 2 CD's so you get 2 shows. I believe the 12th and 13th. Deltics may need to correct me but I think I have the dates right.

I know they're two different shows. If You Can't Rock Me has a great guitar intro that the DVD lacks.

Of course, this could very well be the case. As far as I know, the info that Jagger doing Fa Fa Fa is the 12th show originates from bootlegs/unofficial sources. One would think that the Stones own documentation (the labelling of the original multitrack source tapes in particular) should be more accurate.

If all those bootleglabels always said it was the 11th, but it actualy was the 12th, than probably what they thought was the 12th is also not correct.

I know. I'm not a collector. All I want are the songs. I got Charlie is My Darling deluxe just for the soundtrack CD and traded away the Vinyl. Sticky Fingers Deluxe, I only got for the Leeds CD and traded the Brown Sugar 45. Got Grrr! Deluxe for the IBC CD. Then when On Air came out I now no longer need the BBC 45. I sold on eBay the posters and postcards to all 3 of those box sets. The Ward Checkerboard Lounge Deluxe set I had to get the one with the vinyl because the 2 CD / DVD without the vinyl was sold out. I will make an even trade if I could get the one without the vinyl. If not, that is up for sale or trade. So when I get the Ward LA Friday, I'll keep the DVD, the 4CD's, maybe the 75 program and trade/sell the T-shirt's and vinyl.

It’s a shame but Mick makes a lot of the show recorded on video unlistenable. I think it’s the worst performance from him I’ve ever seen.

Yeah it's quite puzzling to see that after watching a rough edit of the July 11 vid Jagger didn't think : "jeez this is crap. We need to bring back the video crew to film the last two L.A. shows!"
