Listened to his show today on Sirius (27). It's amazing.
He creates a great atmosphere and plays some amazing cuts from the 20s and 30s.

They don't write reviews like this anymore. Kael was considered one of the best film critics of that time. If you've never watched "Renaldo and Clara", it's something else.

No she was wrong more often than not. She called "Dirty Harry" a fascist film while neither Eastwood nor Siegel were right-wing. Same for Sam Peckinpah.

And she falsely accused Orson Welles of stealing the writing credit for Citizen Kane, despite ample evidence of his role in co-writing that screenplay.

I was lucky to be in London 2 years ago on opening day of the first Mondo Scripto exhibit, and was able to get one of the prints at the introductory price. I’m not sure I’d go as high as they’re asking now, but they are beautiful quality and hand signed.

Come on - I know you got a thing against Dylan, but unlike Wood-schetches for 10000 pounds and RS "halloween releases" - this last T-shirt has a purpose - US election.

Dylan has been releasing 8 albums of original songs after 2000, and has given out a lot of archival releases, for instance the 36 cd box of 1966 recordings, at about 100 dollars. From the RS camp, you'd get a "remastered" (brickwalled) CD plus a T-shirt for that price - at best.

The 14 CD box of the 1975 Rolling Thunder Revue costed about 100 dollars, probably the best purchase I have done the last 70 years.
