This is great news, I'm really looking forward to this. I like it that Dylans releases are announced when they're ready for release.

At least:

1) False Prophet has a bit of swing and punch to it...
2) ...unlike Murder Most Foul and I Contain Multitudes which are wonderful lyrically but dirges musically
3) Bob's PUTTING out an album of new, original music !!!

What days to be a Dylan and a Stones fan - new music almost weekly. Never could imagine that when I started to listen these two acts in the early eighties as a teenager, and it was Those Two, and with a big marginal, that mostly exploded my world, I could still in 2020 hear new stuff from them. They were already then such oldies acts... hehe.. One could say I was betting right horses back then...

Really like this new tune as well. Good old back beat, referring to the days of Muddy's revolutionary Chicago band.. And lyrically, self-reflection has taken a darker twist...

Wow, it's even a double album!

Outstanding effort! Dylan's at the top of his game with this one and so is the band. Razor-sharp lyrics over a catchy, plodding beat with some very tasteful guitar breaks thrown in for good measure. Bob's in good voice, the track is well recorded, and has a bit of a Stones' feel to it. I feel like I've hit the trifecta!

Well done Bob. Absolutely love it!

Didnt he release a new studio album last June? Bloody good one too.



This one is certainly a grower. I read that the album is 71 mins and 10 songs, with 'Murder Most Foul' taking up all of disc 2, which seems strange as there's ample room on one disc for the whole thing.

Ha yeah...sounds a bit more than just "inspiration" ha, but Bob's been known to do that throughout his career - sometimes musically and sometimes lyrically.
Credits to that old Sun tune include Ike Turner on guitar.
