My guess was based on the fact that Bob seems to be a History geek (the Titanic connection, the battle of Balinalee, or this Antoin Ó Raifteirí poem - all of them unbeknownst to me so far - thanks, Bob!). On any case, both you and me now heard about this place.

Yes, it's most certainly "Follow me close, I’m going to Bally-na-Lee" [you are right, it's a reference to Anthony Raftery's "The Lass From Bally-na-Lee" = Ballynally or Ballinalee, towns in Ireland].

I do share your thoughts. Which is why I stopped seeing Dylan in 2007, after 17 concerts from 1990.

Hope Dylan will spend time writing Chronicles Vol. 2 in these times.
