Blood On The Tracks is one of the best ever Dylan albums, if not the best ever Dylan album; every track, dare I say it, is a winner. You don't even have that with the mid 60s stuff, i.e Bringing It All Back Home through to Blonde On Blonde.

Well said

I have only seen this news credited to Paul at superdeluxeedition. Is that a reliable source? I hope this is true and that there is a lot more out there than the New York sessions that we have all had for years. The Bootleg Series has never let me down!

Normally a very good site http://www.superdeluxeedition.com/

He got a long meeting and interview with the record company to discuss the last Bowie box set so is well-connected I think.

A bootleg series release covering the Blood On The Tracks period has been rumored for many years – see: [expectingrain.com]

But – since BOTT stuff has been bootlegged a lot – I wonder if they still have much to offer that's unknown to collectors

Same. I adore this album and have always wanted this to be the Bootleg Series they've always rumored. Having said that, I have always wondered what would be included. Is it gonna be like a Cutting Edge box they did with his 60s albums? Cause I'm totally fine with that. But there's really no more live material to release from around that time (I mean there is but it would mostly be repeating what we already have) and the main piece de resistance is the New York Sessions which amounts to one CD if its not all the outtakes.

I hope and assume this'll be an incredible box but yeah, from the time its been rumored I've always wondered what they have for it besides the New York Sessions which, not their fault, but we have already had for decades now.

I have also heard rumors that it may also include Desire outtakes also, which is cool by me! I do hope there are BOTT outtakes that we just don't know about that will surface here!

He was also invited for a special presentation of the anniversary reissue of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band at Abbey Road last year.

Exciting - wish I could read those notes....maybe contents of deluxe edition?
Or maybe a copy of original handwritten lyrics?

Pretty great setlist. Not much different than its been, but some key replacements like Gotta Serve Somebody, When I Paint My Masterpiece, All Along The Watchtower. And I don't think Simple Twist Of Fate is new to this year but its a great addition since I saw him last November. And him playing ANY guitar again, even if its inaudible? Can't fault much of what this guy's doing. If he sounds as good as he did last year, this is a great show. I know its not a new revelation, but seriously its incredible how much he can pull and replace on a dime if he wanted. Obviously the Stones are very much the same, but so much Dylan hasn't played in decades and could just pull out in a flash.
